Now that is a true shopaholic speaking here. I had to laugh when you you said you sent your hubby to get your plates. I could see myself doing the same thing! lol. I'm so sorry you have to endure this but like you said, at least you don't have to go to work like this. Now you will have to just take it easy and enjoy your time off your feet doing you mosaics. :D Wishes for a speedy recovery.

Funny you should say that, but I thought it was two breaks also. Doc said that it was just one and we're seeing both sides, but that doesn't make sense to me. Does it to you? I still haven't heard about the appt., and if they don't call me by this afternoon, I'll call them.

Oh wow.. yup broken indeed! you have such a great positive attitude about this... I almost want to laugh at your story of determination for broken dishes and yard sales. :) Im sorry you broke your ankle/leg though. It must be painful! Take care and keep us posted on how they will treat you!

Thanks! I look at it this way. I can get upset and be grumpy about it or I can make the best of it. I choose to make the best of it. I'm hoping that this will give me an opportunity to really focus on my mosaics this summer. :thumbup:;)

Maybe it is like slicing off a piece of an apple. We can see both sides of the piece that is cut (broken) but still only one cut (break)? I dunno...

Judy, I'm sorry that happened to your ankle. :( That sounds painful. Best Wishes on a full recovery.

You made me laugh when you told your husband to go grab those plates for you so the other lady didn't get them lst, even though you just did that to your ankle. :D

Oh, forgot to add, "thanks" for sharing your x-ray pic with us but I don't know what the heck I'm looking at.

Oh honey sorry to hear you got hurt. Too funny that you sent him to get the plates for you.

Hoping you can get a soft cast and not one of the hard ones...especially with the heat and the summer being here.

Thanks, Dawn. I'm sore today, but mainly from trying to learn how to use crutches. How crazy is that? Who knew that using crutches would be my biggest challenge?? lol!

Obviously I don't know how to look at an x-ray either, so don't feel like you're alone. :)

Okay, that's a good point! I've been trying to deal with doctors all day and it's been frustrating. The podiatrist never received the referral and the doctor insists they sent one and I just want an appointment! Oh well, maybe someone in their office will grow a brain before tomorrow morning when I will call back.

I'm really tired today, so I think I'm going to go nap for awhile. Thalnks for checking on me. :)
