Funny...yet annoying story. Today I sat down to watch TV and COULD NOT for the life of me find the darn remote. This is a frequent problem for me bc my couch literally EATS things. Seriously, it's a terrible couch and stuff falls in the cushion and it swallows them. So i was going crazy bc we have digital cable and you NEED the remote to watch anything, the TV is useless without it.

So after a couple of hours and missing all my favorite shows I'm pissed. I searched everywhere and had the BF searching too. We took apart the couch, tore apart the living room...nothing. I even had Chris lift up the couch so I could check under and Abbey got stuck UNDER THE COUCH. I could not find her anywhere and heard her wimpering!!!!!! Then I look and saw her little snoot peaking out from the couch. UGHHHHHHHHHHH I scareamed!!! WE got her out and she was completely fine but I couldn't believe that happened. And she was OK!!!!! Ugh!!!!!

That's not all...I decided to eat some artichoke dip I had made and I got the tortilla chips down and GUESS THAT I FIND?!?! The darn remote is IN THE TORTILLA CHIP BAG!!!!!!!!!! My BF concluded that it must have fallen in the bag when he was eating out of it earlier while watching TV!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN? It was pretty hilarious seeing a remote in the chip bag but UGHHHH, I WASTED SO MUCH TIME!!!

OH gosh!!! LOL That IS too funny!
My girlfriend did something similar last week. lost her credit card and searched EVERYWHERE... finally gave up and went out. On her way out she grabbed a bag of walnuts and stuck them in her pocketbook (where they were earlier) and lo & behold... there is her credit card. In the bag of walnuts! HAHAHAHA :)

OMG, that is hilarious!!! Better attach one of those beeping keyfinders on your remote cause who knows where it'll end up next time:rolleyes:

Oh!! I know the remote you are talking about. One of my BF's friends gave him one for his birthday last year. After like a month of using it he spilt juice on it and it broke. Too bad though bc I loved that remote...it was HUGE, it never got lost...you could even use it as a tray.

I guess the BF just has no luck when it come to remotes...he should just quit eating/drinking when handling one. ;)

OK I'm sorry but the visual of your baby's little tiny nose sticking out of the couch cracked me up!!!! I am so glad she's ok but that is really, really funny. Probably because it's something that would happen to us, and I would shoot my hubby if he did that to Ranger!!!

Yeah, it was terrible though!! Funny afterward. It was so unnerving i just said to Chris, "I can't find Abbey but I hear her wimpering!!!" Very scary feeling. I thought it was IMPOSSIBLE for her to be under the couch so I didn't even look there at first. Then I look and her tiny nose... OMG SHE'S UNDER THE COUCH. When he lifted it she came running out. She was fine, but if you saw our couch...wow I just don't know how she fit under there. Poor baby. She was quite confused.
