Yesterday I mentioned I was making the doggies a new toy box. A few of you wanted to see pictures so here they are! I think it came out pretty good for my first time! Next time I'm going to buy glossy Modge Podge. I went with a Bambi theme. :)

Very cute, Kyle! You did a great job! I love the yellow background too. How many coats of the modpodge did you have to use, and where did the pictures come from? I love doing stuff like that!

I put two or three layers over the top of everything. You have to make sure it dries really well between coats because I found that if you don't the paper will still be wet and it'll pull the paper off (does that make sense?). The pictures came from one of those little children's books that normally cost a couple of dollars.

Kyle~ thanks! Maybe once I get done making some potty bells for the doors and finish up some belly bands for Madison I'll try something like that too! I've only done a few mod-podge things but I know that sometimes (not from MY stuff, of course, but someone sent me a platter kind of like one of those plastic dinner chargers, and the paper design she put on, kind of lifted off. I'm not sure if it's b/c of the material (plastic) or what, but I don't want that to happen to mine. So I'm glad you reminded me about that, esp. since I like to get things finished so I can admire them, LOL.

I'd be happy to make a few at cost of supplies.

I'm not sure if it would be worth it with shipping though. It's an odd size at 5" high and 14 1/2" in length. Any suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions about shipping but I'd buy one with a beach theme. It would be worth the shipping to me since I'd never make one myself. I used to be crafty but I got it out of my system.:p

Haha, it probably won't be to bad. Beach themed stuff is out more now that it's summer.
