It's Denise...Just wanta to say HI Just stopped by to say hi and look at all your adorable babies. Maddie is going wonderful next door. She is spoiled rotten as ever. I must say its really hard having her next door and seeing her all the time, knowing I just can't bring her home and snuggle all night. Bob and Jane say that Maddie is a life savor for them. ( how wonderful!) Lexi is taking the shots. Still hard on her, but she is being a tropper. They said it could take a year or more before they really start to help. So who know how things will in the future. Bob & Jane said that if in time Lexi is better we could have Maddie back, but then after all they have said how she is helping, I just couldnt do that to them no matter how much I miss her. So that really's hard, but I think the right thing to do. Maddie happy and they are soooo happy. That is what matters. I just couldnt up route Maddie after a year or longer. Lexi thinks the neighbors have just taken Maddie from us. No matter what I tell her or how I tell her, she's mad at them...I think its worse cause she can't really go visit Maddie. She told Jane one day... You took my dog. I felt so bad for Lexi. Jane totally understood. She is having a really really tough time missing Maddie. They were really buddies. Lauryn of course misses her too, but heck she's becoming a teenager and on the go all the time. me.....well i'm just dealing....I know she's in a good place, with good people so that really helps. Still Maddie is the love of my life and will always hold a special place in my heart. Who knows how things with Lexi will be in the near future and if things will ever get better for her. I just got over bronchitis again. I thought my sinus surgery would help with that, but guess not. Still having some asthma problems due to the bronchitis, but they have me on steriod (previsone) so its getting better. I miss all you greatly and will call this weekend. I dont' ck here that often so feel free to email me Denise517@comcast.net Love you All!!! Give those babies hugs and kisses from me |
Aww D, I am sorry that things happened the way they are. But thankfully you will still be able to see her and take comfort in the fact that she is being well cared for. Sending you and your family a really big hug. |

Denise, we've missed you, it's wonderful to hear from you. It sounds like Maddie is doing well, and I'm so glad she's close to home so you can see her any time you want. It's got to be rough on Lexi, but in time she'll understand. Hang in there, girl-sending you lots of hugs, and wet kisses from Emma & Milli too! |
You are a very careing person and you did what was right. At least Maddie is close and in an excellent home. That's the most important. Good to hear from you. |
Sending Hugs and Kisses to you and your girls. |
Hi Denise - great to see you stopping by. It still breaks my heart about Maddie, so I can only imagine how you must feel. Poor little Lexie. One day she will understand. I certainly hope you start to see results much faster than a year with her shots. It was within a few weeks with our son. I'm glad your friends are loving Maddie, but I bet she misses you guys, too. I will definitely keep in touch and maybe one of these days we can even get together. Hugs to you all!!!! |
Hey denise! good to see you popping on here to keep in touch with us all! goodluck with everything;) |
Denise, good to hear from you again. Prayers for you and your family. Hugs.. |
hi Denise! It is great to hear that Maddie is doing so well with the neighbors! I cannot imagine what you are going through but wish you all the strength you need. I sure hope that Lexi improves enough to visit Maddie. Bless you and your family! d |
Denise, So glad to see you post. My heart just goes out to you. I know you are a strong woman to go thru all of this. You are truly blessed to have such good neighbors - I don't have neighbors like that. So in the difficult moments, when you just want a bundle of fur to snuggle with, I hope you can find comfort in the blessing that they are. Maddie in return has earned more than her angel's wings by being a lovebug for them. She does have a calling on her life to bring others joy. |
Oh Denise, honey, first of all I am so sorry to hear that you had Bronchitis...you poor thing! It is always something and I just feel SO incredibly bad for you :( I am glad to hear though that little Maddie is doing so well with your neighbors...that is wonderful! Even better that she is such a lifesaver for them....I know that makes you feel so good :) I know you guys miss her sooo much and I can only imagine how upset poor little Lexi is. Give that little angel a big hug for me  If you are ever able to, take some pictures of little Maddie when you go and see her next time - I miss seeing that cute little face TERRIBLY bad...and so does the love of Maddie's life, Stedman  Give her big kisses for us the next time you see her, and an extra little hug from Stedman. We love you guys!! |
