OMG!!! Chewy's an alchy!
 
So Big Daddy and I were sitting around tonight sharing a couple of bottles of wine since about 6PM and having a great dinner. Now, Chewy is begging to get up on my lap and going straight for my mouth and tonguing me trying to get a taste of the wine and he keeps looking at my wine glass. What gives???

toby seems to want to go after ANYTHING with alcohole in it....... BE VERY CAREFUL, i am very watchful with my baby....... one of my friends breeds bulldogs, and this guy came over to hang out and gave one of his bulldog pups beer "to see if it would act drunk" well........ IT DIED........ autopsy showed that it was the beer, when my friend foudn out what happened he punched the guy out cold, then he was brought up on charges......lol.... so i told him to get the guy for "animal cruelty, endangerment, destruction of property, mental anguish, ect...... well....." the judge through the guys asualt case out of court and awarded my friend all the money he asked for :p ........ BUT it doesnt bring back that poor little pup :( , so please be careful with your babies especially when there are other people around that are drinking and may not know the rules

Orin...thanks for the warning, but he's only licking my mouth. All of my friends know how neurotic I am about Chewy so they won't dare do anything. although a friend told me that over X-mas his beagle ate a pot brownie and was crazy for 3 days. He's fine now, but the stories are sad, but kind of funny :grin2:

i just shared in teh hopes that no one goes through what my friend had too :( it was soooooooooooooo sad....... i dont think any OWNERS on here would give their baby this stuff intentionally, but like i said other people dont know the rules..... and the consequences could be tragic
My mother couldnt understand why i freaked out after she gave toby some beer, and then i told her the story and she was Soooooooooooo apologetic, again, it seems common sense to us, but i guess other people just dont get it :confused:
