Please tell me I am not the only one that.... did not know Baked Alaska was a dessert. If I did ... I must have forgot I knew. I really thought it was some type of seafood and when I was flipping thru a Woman's World I saw how to make it. How nuts am I?? |
I didnt know what it was until i played the Sims game believe me u are not alone lol. |
Don't feel bad- it's an old fashioned dessert. You're probably just too young and hip too know about such things.:D |
Don't fee bad - you didn't know, nothing wrong with that - we can't know everything, right? Funny story - we were having dinner w/husband's family. His brother had grilled several different cuts of steak. Dee, his wife served side dishes of baked potato, green salad, corn, and a tabouli salad. I commented on how good the tabouli was. A cousin (PhD Biology), agrees with me and then wants to know, just which steak is "Tabouli"? He thought one of the cuts of steak was a rare African meat of some kind. :D:p |
Id say I knew it was a dessert, but I could not tell you ONE thing about it! LOL |

I think I learned what it was on Seasame Street or something.. lol, jk.. but seriously I've known what it was since I was young, but I've never had it so I have no idea where I learned it. I read anything I could get my hands on when I first learned to read,so maybe I read it in one of my moms magazines. I don't know what Tabouli is.. i've heard of.. but I thought it was some kind of rice, like CousCous. |
It's a dessert? |
|
Oh No!! you're not alone!! I think I've always thought it was some kind of baked "fish" LOL!!! |
