I have a bunch of funny scared-faced pictures of me when I got mine done....almost 5 years ago.

Whew, my parents said (when they found out, monnnnths later) that it was "just a phase" but I LOVE LOVE LOVE having my belly pierced! It didn't hurt much at all, and it's been so much fun all these years!

I bet it isn't that bad...She's going to probably turn into a flasher or something now that she has her OWN navel ring ! I can't wait to hear about this - I'm waiting too...

Alright, Villette....I'll explain what getting your belly button pierced feels like. Ready?

Ok, (hypothetically) pinch your elbow with your thumb and index finger - pinch until it is uncomfortable enough for you to say "ouch". And then it's over.

The thing is, you're not USED to feeling a pain or even pinching sensation coming from your belly button so even the pain is confused in your brain why you're feeling pain/discomfort THERE.

I''m a weeeee-nieee when it comes to pain but I expected getting my belly pierced to be a lot worse than it actually was. :) Really, it was like a really hard pinch and then it was over!

The hard part is keeping it clean and not letting it get infected. I was successful until I changed my ring for the 1st time and it did get infected that once. Now THAT hurts! LOL.

Awww....I get the concept - So...After reading THAT - I laugh in the face of navel rings :D ...I'm TOUGH ! lol - I pierced my own ears like 3 times - course I was hanging out with Bud(weiser) when I did it - I should have told her to DRINK before going - but then...she may have pierced MORE than just her bellybutton and she'd REALLY be cryin ! hehehe

And this is the reason that I do not drink very often and when I do, I make damn sure that there isn't a tattoo shop or piercing shop anywhere near. If I still drank on the weekends and was near a tat/piercing shop I imagine that i would look like a full body version of Pin Head from Hellraiser. I am 10 foot tall and bullet proof when I am drinking and feel no pain from tats or piercings.

Oh its true. Only 2 of my tats were planned and done when I was sober and those are the 2 most recent. My friends always joke about the fact that all my piercings have been done when I was hanging out with Jose (Quervo on the rocks).

her dad fell down the stairs so she didn't get it pierced she was at their house all weekend helping she's getting it done friday. there's a thread in off topic called didn't get my navel pierced

Hey everyone! I didn't get it done this weekend because my dad fell down the stairs Friday night and broke his wrist. So we had to rush him over to the hospital. I know I was planning on getting it done Saturday but I changed it to Friday night because I was getting anxious. I will try again this Friday night/Saturday 12 noon. I'll let you guys know all the dirty details! :D
