ugh... another pit attack! |
Oh, MY! How terrifying that must have been for that man! And I do believe he is right. No child would have survived such an attack. It seems to me that the owners of the dog could/should be prosecuted. By their negligence, they have allowed this vicious attack to happen and should be held accountable. IMO |
That poor man! I can't even imagine the horror he had to endure. Sorry, these animals are very dangerous. I hope they find them and put them down before they attack some other helpless person. |
I know.. I couldn't imagine... they came back a 2nd time too! Geezzz... how horrible! :( I feel so bad for him! |
I feel so sorry for that man and in a way for the dogs as the owners are not experienced or responsible enough to raise those dogs the right way. Instead they raised them to become vicious attack dogs that are a danger to every one around them. If you don't know how to properly raise, socialize, and care for a breed or dog in general DON'T GET THE D*** DOG! ughhhh that is so annoying:mad::thumbdown:thumbdown |
I can't imagine how terrifying that must have been for him. I can't imagine ever being attacked by an animal that I love so much (dogs in general) — I don't know what I would do. There's no bad dogs... just bad, irresponsible owners… but the dogs are the ones who are blamed and pay the price. |
I haven't commented on these types of thread before because I was undecided about how I really feel. But D*mmit to H*ll, too many people and pets are getting attacked and KILLED by pit bulls. Sweet family pet pit bulls are turning on their grandchildren, gentle friendly "never bit anything" pit bulls are killing other smaller dogsIn most cases it is the owners fault, not the dogs, but think about it. If you have to keep your pit bull locked up to prevent it from hurting or killing another dog or a person, then that pit bull should not be alive! MY own opinion! I don't know what the answer is, but it's sad to say, EVEN IF they outlawed pit bulls, it would be another animal, that those same irresponsible people would get and ruin that breed as well. |
I agree with you sunnie! They will just ruin other breeds. I was talking to my brother today about this. He has 2 dogs that are pitbull mixes. My brother has trained them to be non-aggressive and they are mixed with Lab so I dont know if the pit in them is watered down enough, but both dogs are loving and friendly and so far trustworthy around dogs and kids. But I hate the fact that i start to worry about something happening with these dogs because one is getting older and may get grumpy or something. :( I love his female brandy so much! Shes 7 years old and a total sweetheart! Shes so friendly and loving and I feel such mix feelings about pitbulls as a breed. My brother said today that sometimes when he plays with his dogs, he can see how a grown man could not get away from 2 pitbulls... he says that his dogs are relentless, he'll push them away and they are back on top of him in a split second. Its all in play and they know it, but he says that they could easily take him down and hes 6'2'' and very athletic and strong. Thats a scary thought. |
HOLY COW that is one lucky to be alive man ! OMG my heart was in my throat reading it - -that was horrible ! I hope they find those dogs and while I hate all pits getting a bad rap - they DO attack alot and I totally blame the people who raised/own them :(:( that man will never be the same....he sure had an angel on his side that awful day |
The only dog i had growing up were pitbulls. Not one of them ever hurt anyone. My brothers dog would excape through a little hole in the gate but never did she attack anyone. Even when my neices and nephews were born and pulled on their ears or whatever. They were great dogs. I think any breed of dog could be dangerous. It's the way they are raised and the way the owner trains them to be. I personally am not a big pitbull fan. I like my Yorkie but the pitbull is my familys breed of choice. Then again they arent the type of people who train them to be monsters. That is my opinion on them. :yorkiesar |
OMG, that is horrible. :( That man IS lucky to be alive. I pray that they find those two dogs before they attack someone else. :hands: |
GLADIATOR PITS | This website is sick too.. claiming they have the strongest most powerful pitbulls ever. and only breeding XXXLRG ones.. |
wow-that poor man. To be attacked twice, i just cant imagine. I will not drag the old proverbial horse out and beat it with my opinion again. I love all dogs, and even pits, but i just think we need to stop breeding them altogether. |
