I couldn't watch it. I started to, but then I saw what they did to the German Shepherd in the beginning, and I heard those agonizing cries and I quit. I just don't understand why people can be so cruel! There is so much EVIL in the world, and a lot of it is directed to our porr helpless animal friends. How could someone do that? I just don't get it!!!! :mad: |

I am a christian and I believe(as it says in the bible :) ) that God provided us with animals for such things as food... It also says in the bible we are to take care of animals. SO I think there is a HUGE difference in killing an animal for fur for the sake of fashion and killing animal to provide food as well as using the rest of it for leather for various items such as clothing, furniture. BUt I do thingk its is horribly wrong to kill for sport, or just fur. Food is a necessatity. So is protien which is why we need meat. If you are a vegetarian, then I think that is a great choice for you. But I do not think everyone else should have to feel bad because they eat meat. There is a reason cows exist. And its not just to eat grass. Sorry guys I dont mean to get preachy or anything. I just wanted to get that out there. :p |
My 2 cents just so everyone knows how hard it is to get around using animals products. Dog food, glue, jello, & fertilizer is all made out of horses. Some of the horses used have already passed away, but some of the horses used were euthanized because no one wanted them. I just wanted to let everyone know how hard it is to be truely vegan |
omare-i was going to stay out but i can't help it now. yes the cows suffer but they just chop their heads off or whatever and its done. they are pulling the skin off of these dogs ALIVE!!! is it really that hard to understand??? i'm not much of a meat eater although, i do eat it. and i know they don't suffer as much. they also use the body. these animals are skinned and then thrown away. ponyup-thats why i hate feeding my dogs everynight....... :( |

I am glad I did not watch the clip. I have been to countries where dogs are sold for meat, raised for meat. I thought about what we do with animal skins and so I figured that the fur would be used as trim on clothing or whole coats would be made. I remember when there was a recall of coats made in china in the early 80's because it was found to be dog fur. Yet Canada was selling Fox fur coats as well as other animals. Fake fur is a wonderful thing. |

I didn't look because I emotionally can't handle suffering and torture. I just read everyone's posts. This is horrible. I remember seeing cute little kitten and puppy figurines that were covered in real fur in the stores. I was pretty sure that they had killed cats and dogs to make them.
