Hey everyone. I was just curious to see how many of you guys have tattoos? Care to share some pictures? Here are pictures of all of the tattoos that I have:

^ Twenty-two on the inside of my left ankle. I got this one because it's mine&my husband's favorite number. It was also his jersey number when he played basketball.

&that's all that I have as of right now :) I do plan to get more in the future ... I just don't know what I want yet, lol.

I used one of those rub-on ones from Cracker Jacks once.:rolleyes:

Hahaa yeah, I was kind of bored when I posted this thread ... but it's always interesting to see what tattoos other people have. At least, to me it is :) Or do you mean that I have a lot of tattoos because I'm bored? Hahaa.

I have the Chinese symbol of 'Strength' on my right wrist.

I also have *special* tatoos on both of my ring fingers (palm side) :p

Tattooing your dog is one of the older methods of permanent identification. Like microchipping, tattooing uses an identification number that links to a registry containing your identification info. In order for tattooing to protect your dog, you also must register in a national tattoo database, such as Tattoo a Pet (Tatoo-A-Pet|Pet Protection Registration and Recovery!) or the National Dog Registry (www.natldogregistry.com). If you're interested in tattooing your Yorkie, keep these points in mind:

-You can take your dog to your vet or to a skilled tattoo (ask your vet for a recommendation) to be tattooed. You pay for the cost of getting the tattoo&the registration fee. Your vet or tattooist can give you more details on the specific charges.

-The procedure doesn't require general anesthetic, but the area that's getting tattooed is numbed with a local anesthetic. Although the procedure itself is painless (after the numbing that is) most dogs don't like the buzzing sound of the tattoo needle, so you want to be on hand to help keep your dog calm&still.

-The two most common areas to put the tattoos are on the inside of the ear&on the inside of the thigh, near the groin. Always opt for the thigh tattoo, because an ear tattoo can be cut off.

-By law, no laboratory can use a dog who has a tattoo.

-The tattoo doesn't protect your dog unless you're also listed in a national database.

I have a large one on my back. I don't have a picture though! :eek: I got it almost 4 years ago so the novelty has worn off and I don't really pay much attention to it anymore.

I'd love a few others though, haha.

I have one on my shoulder on the right side. Its of a skull peeking out from under my skin to signify that it takes me while to really come out of my shell. Ill post a picture later. I do want three more. One of a gypsy because I never seem to stay in one place too long. A blue dragon because I never wanted the prince charming. Dragons are totally misunderstood! Lol and I'm thinking about a fairie holding a 4 leaf clover.

I may be sorry I said this but I do have a Rose on my butt. My first choice was to have puppy feet on my butt, but.......believe it or not, the man said he didn't know how to!! OK, so..........I got a beautiful Rose on it. I still want the puppy feet. (either on my butt or my back)

i have 5 tattoos

i am working on a leg piece and and arm piece now but i have to wait till i pop out my baby in a few weeks and then get started.

my first i got were my sons foot prints and his dates of birth and death
and then i added wings to that that goes onto my shoulder and down to my ribs and then i have

all my kids have their favorite color stars behind my ear

i have a pin up girl on my thigh in the image of me and its funny cause it does look like me

and last was my lady bug on my foot well my big toe but i my body rejected the ink so its really faded and it even has some spots were the ink fell out completely

we are not sure it it was the cancer treatments i had before i got the tat or it was the red ink but it looks yucky so i havent decided what to cover it with or go over it again

we will see

if i can resize my pics i will and post later

but hubbys a tattoo artist so i see tats day in and out

in fact hes doing one now as i sit here and play on the computer lol
