Need fun baby shower games My sisters, mom and stepdaughter are planning my baby shower and they are trying to come up with some fun games. I have not been to a baby shower in a while so any ideas????? |
LOL, I have to giggle a bit - bc I just did a post on my food blog about having to schlep to a baby shower and PLAY games (which I abhor, *no* offense!)! But, for my blog post - I looked up some titles of games via a Yahoo search - and hands down the most interesting game title was "Yikes My Water Broke" - whatever that one is, you've gotta play it, girl! :D |
I had a baby shower for my cousin last year and I did one where you put different melted candy bars in diapers and they had to guess what kind of candy bar it was. It got a lot of people laughing! (I saw this on "the girls next door"). I also did a baby scrabble and one were you had to guess the baby food. I found the scrabble on google. Good Luck! |

I love the game where you wear a clothes pin and if you say the word "baby" someone grabs your clothes pin for saying the word "baby" lol I always win at that game lol |
Search for the left right game for baby showers. It's a cute little story and every time you say left they pass the prize left, when you say right it gets passed right and at the end of the story, whoever has the prize, gets to keep it. It's easy and everyone seems to like it. |

I gave my best friend a shower last year and we played the clothespin game where if anyone crosses their legs or any part of their body they have to give their tiny pink,blue,yellow etc clothespin to the person who caught them. We also played the baby trivia game.I made up questions about the mom like when is her birthday, when is the baby's due date, how do you spell her name, what is something that no mom can live without and it was a pacifier and one was how many diapers do a baby go through in a year and I cant remeber but it was a lot lol. We also played guess the nursery rhyme game. At my cousin baby shower we had little babies frozen in ice and whoever baby was born first they won a prize. I threw one and we played baby shower bingo and a game I printed up that you had to name what the baby animal is called. Example: Ant Baby:antling Cow Baby: Calf That was pretty fun. |
At my shower we played many of the games mentioned above. So much fun! We also had guests guess how much string it would take to go exactly around my stomach. The closest string length won. They seemed to enjoy this game the most. :) |
