Yeah, sad to see the ending, it was very Sopranos-ish to me, and it was weird also, since we never see the core group "socializing" at the diner like that... Not sure how accurate this blog post is, but it's saying the actor himself did not want to renew his CSI contract:

Actor Gary Dourdan, who plays Warrick Brown on CSI, is reportedly leaving after his contract expires in May. According to TVGuide.com's Michael Ausiello, Dourdan already told producers he will not renew the contract.

If anyone watches CSI: Miami, they similarly killed off the character of Tim Spedle in an episode a few years ago. He did come back and make a guest appearance either this past season or the season before as a "ghost" that another of the characters kept seeing...

Hey Jeanne, the scumbag that shot Warrick is the sheriff. :thumbdown I'm still sitting her hating this ending!! I hate this entire season. :thumbdown We lost two main characters, boohoo!! :( I think it might be time I search for another show to really love. I love Grey's also but there was somethign special about CSI. :(

I agree with you 100% It was a good episode but so differen't for CSI. However, not every day they kill off a main character. :( There are soooooooo many rumors floating around about why he truly left. I just read something about it having to do with him wanting more money and they wouldn't give it to him. Who really knows. :cool: All I know is that the show is going to be so differen't now. :(

I'm pretty sure Miami's finale is tonight. I'll have to check their site. I like it also but its nothing like Vegas to me. :(

I just check the listings and yes, you are right. It's tonight! The name of it is "Going Ballistic" and here, Florida, Eastern time, 10pm! Yea!!!

thanks! i am going to dig around for online rumors :p lol ... i did not think sarah would ever come back as a regular cast member either...and as much as i did not care for her character, it would be nice to have some of the original cast come back :)

the ending STINKS! :p lol

No I don't think it's going to be who we think it is, that killed him. I think they left the ending like that so we would think we know the killer. That would mess up 2 important people in the show.:confused:

I watched it last night too. I was doing too many things at once and didn't really watch too closely so maybe I missed something...did Ryan have something to do with shooting Horatio?

I saw it last night and I was shocked at the ending. A couple of times I thought I knew who did it. But now that I think about it. That would be to easy..

Can't wait to see who shot Horacho(sp)?:confused:

I work too much to be able to watch when it is originally aired but thank god for On Demand! I'm watching it now. And I did hear that he was asked to leave due to his drug problems and personal issues affecting his work on the show.

I thought I saw on some news site that he (Warrick) was busted for drugs so don't know if that ending had anything to do with that or if the drug bust was after he found out he wasn't going to be on CSI anymore.:(

he got shot on THAT show ? Man - I need to stop working 2 jobs lol...(I really don't - I DO work full time but the other is work from home ....but man...It's starting to interfere with CSI time now) :D that's 2 I missed totally -

so - Do they do reruns and what night / channel ?? anyone know ?

I just went to CBS.com – Official site of CBS and saw the ending one, Again. LOL ! I couldn't believe Horatio got shot either. Not my man!!!! :confused:

(he repeats everything TWICE I Swear - I think it's funny)

you like him ? I'm not crazy about him - I think he's pretty unsexy as far as men go - but I think he's great for the show...and now I want to see BOTH finale's cause I missed them.

I really hope some channel picks them up and shows it again

You can go to CBS.com – Official site of CBS and then click on the shows tab. It will bring up all of the CBS shows. Then click which one you want and it will take you to their main page. Then once you are there, you will see "watch episode." :D

I don't think Horatio is sexy at all, but I think he is so relaxing and calming. He just makes everybody feel better, feel better. :)

Also, just incase you don't know. The last episode title for Vegas is "Gredda" and "Going Ballistic" is Miami.


Just thought I'd tell you this so you know which episode to choose.

I've watched the last epi of vegas three times now and I'm still in shock. I'm not sure what to think about Miami's last epi. :cool:

Gosh, I have no idea. I've read so many differen't things. When I heard about the drug bust I figured that was the reason he was leaving. However, then I read that he's been fighting for this raise and new contract for months now and that was the true reason for him leaving. He said something about never getting a raise and yet William Petersen and Marg whatever her last name is, have gotten many. I remember around season 5 (I think ) Jorja Fox (Sara) and George Eads (Nick) were fired because they complained about the same thing and wouldn't sign their contracts. However, they obviously were rehired but who knows what happened with the raise issue. I also read money was an issue with Jorja Fox and had a lot to do with her finally leaving.


I can understand them being upset if two kept getting raises and they got nothing ever, but then again I'm sure they all make quite a bit to begin with. :cool::p
