Donna, I'm sad to hear that you've lost your mom but glad that you had the wonderful help of hospice to make her going as comfortable as possible. They really are a wonderful service. Thanks for sharing your heart-grief with us a little. I hope the passing of time will make your pain more bearable. Mom's are wonderful gifts from God and it is very hard when it's time to let them go. |
I am so sorry that you lost your dear Mom. I'll pray for God to comfort you. Hugs to you. It's so hard to lose a Mom. |

Sadly she slipped into a coma and was still in ICU, so hopsice was not an option. But It sounds as if your mom was in the hands of angels. Bless her heart and I am sending much love to you at this tough time. |
Donna, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. It is wonderful when you can feel that she was in peace as she passed. I too lost my Mom almost 4 years ago at age 81. She had 5 strokes in a 3 month time and sadly lived the last 3 years of her life in a nursing home unable to talk, walk, feed herself, etc. My dad was there everyday to help feed her and take care of her. It was heartbreaking to see her because up until her strokes, she was a wonderful alert vibrant woman who was still running a business and was known and loved by everyone in town. She never wanted to have to live her life in a nursing home, so it was hard to see her go that way. I know she loved us and knew she was loved and I am sure your mom did too. The pain will pass and you will always have those wonderful memories of her. God bless. I will have you and your family in my prayers. Sonya |
Donna, I am so very sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family. When my first husband was given his terminal diagnosis we soon decided on Hospice and were able to have him transferred there from a home close by. From the moment we arrived we knew that this was the perfect place for him and for us, his family. We were immediately surrounded with love and compassion and his final days were spent loved and cared for by these very special Angels. I cannot begin to say enough about the care he received and the kindness bestowed on all of us. I am so very sorry for you loss..... |
