Tornado is our NE Ok Area Please pray for all of these families and friends!! They really need it... It's unreal and I can't begin to put it into words right now. I'm still in shock. You can see more on the weather channel. I'd rather not post my pictures. There are enough out there. |
OMG! How scary! I will keep them all in my prayers. Stay safe! |
This is just so sad, praying for everyone.:( |

Was the high school prom Sat. night? When I was looking at someone's tornado pictures on the internet, they also had before prom pictures (but no date on them). I feel so bad for the residents of Picher........from my understanding most of the town is already uninhabitable because of the lead/zinc mines and being a Superfund site and now this - a tornado! May God be with them all. |

MySpace If you have myspace it should work... let me know. Yes, the town is pretty much a mess anyways. My town is about a mile from there. Alot of those kids attend our school now, but live in Picher. Luckily it is the superfund site, alot of the houses are empty because of that reason. All this after the floods, ice, etc... It's crazy. |
I don't have MySpace but did see pictures from the newspaper there. My son and his friend were fishing on the upper end of Grand yesterday afternoon and got off the lake when they saw the storm building. The friends Aunt's house in Picher was destroyed as were their vehicles. She was actually in their truck, trying to move it when the tornado hit. It picked up the truck, spun it completely around, broke out all of the windows......thankfully, she is okay! |
