so overwhelmed! i dont even know where to start. sorrry, this is probably going to be very veryy jumbled. Caden's birthday was on May 7, and since then i've had to deal with soo many things! my confirmation was on the same day so i was worried about that all day he didnt he get his presents. after the after party at 12 o'clock (!!!!) i had to do history homework! the next day i planned to give caden his presents, after school while doing language arts homework, and then i get a call from my BFF. her cat had been pregnant, and she had had her kittens on Cadens birthday, so i went over to see them (she was there when i got sammy and caden and ive been with her when she got her cats so i had to go). got home, ready to give him his presents. mommy walked in my room and told me my great uncle richard died :( . i didnt stop crying for hours. i was going to stay home yesterday to get myself together, but there was a class trip that we already paid for. the chaperone for our group almost left us in the museum!!!! the museum was in another state! so i was panicking for the three hours we were lost. got home, and had a huuuge science packet due on monday. the wake was at 5. funeral was today. mothers day plans tomorrow. dont know when ill even have time to finish it. im working on it now. sobbing over my great uncle's death. its a huge grade and 3/4 of my 4th marking period grade IS the packet alone. another huge project due for the same class on my birthday! and caden still didnt get his presents! ugghhh!! this is soooo overwhelming :( and i've dealt with atleast 4 deaths in this year alone. im 13 and i DO NOT deal with death well. i felt i had to pay my respects at the wake, but i could NOT look at him. im sorry this is so long everyone :( |
Oh sweetie.....everything you are feeling is normal, I have a 15 year old niece who went through a similar time around your age. I know it is hard and easy for someone else to day but try to relax, take a nap with caden or go for a walk, summer is almost here and before you know it you will not know what to do with all your free time. |
Don't feel so bad, that is a lot for anyone to deal with. Just take a deep breath and stand back from things for a while. You need to make sure that you are 100% before you try to take on too many things. No one expects (and you shouldn't either) you to "do it all". Take a few deep breaths and take a few minutes to regroup. It will do you a world of good. Good luck and take care of yourself! |
You most certainly have a lot on your plate right now. Hug your little furbaby. I've always found that helps me calm down. Hugs from me to you. |
I'm so sorry you have so much going on right now. Life too often can overload us, but remember you can get thru this - and you will be stronger for it on the other side. Set aside some time for yourself - even if it's only 10-20 minutes. Snuggle with Caden, go for a walk, go soak in the tub, play some music, pray and give it all to God. He is bigger than all your troubles, and He will make a way for you, if you place your trust in Him. |
Oh my Kelli!.....I'm so sorry your going through sooo much at one time and I'm so sorry to hear you have suffered so much loss in your life including your uncle.....your having to deal with some problems that weigh heavy on your emotions.....it is perfectly understandable for you to be feeling stressed right now..... Try and only do the things that you really need to right now and try and find some time to pull back and take in a breather.....you defiantly need some time to de-stress, even if for a few minutes......I hope things get better soon for you.... |
I'm so sorry! :( It is hard to deal with death, especially at such a young age. I completely understand. Do you have someone you can talk to? It's OK to cry, but it's good to talk to someone also. Take care! |
Aww Kelli that is a lot to deal with. I'm sorry you're having to deal with it all at one time. Trying taking a break and giving Caden his presents and then going to do your homework when you're more relaxed!! I hope you can sort everything out soon. I'm very sorry about your great uncle! |
Prayers for Kelli's family Kelli, sorry for your loss... At your age, thats alot to deal with... The way you feel is part of grieving, which is perfectly normal... You payed your respects just by attending... There will be time for Caden... So just prioritize yourself and don't let the situation bring you down... I know it's easier said than done, but remember that your grades are important too... Maybe you can speak with your counselor or teacher about your situation and perhaps they'll give you extra time to return your assignments... :2hearts2:I Love My Furbabies, :aimeeyorkNygee, :aimeeyorkGizmo & :aimeeyorkGypsy!!:2hearts2: |
