| patty58 | 05-16-2008 01:13 PM | Update Well I am finally home! I have been computerless for days. Basically since last Friday I have been helping with Mason. He was in the hospital for 24 hours and then went home. He is still on breathing treatments but is doing much better so went back to the babysitter yesterday. I have been staying day and night with them to try to help with him (and Mimi couldn't stand the thought of him going back to the babysitter yet). They have sorta/kinda diagnosed it as bronchial asthma. He is now on allergy/asthma medication along with the xopenex in his breathing treatments. We finally talked Brian, my son, into taking a few days off and going fishing. He is on oral chemo for psoratic arthritis that was diagnosed on the same day Mason was admitted to the hospital. For awhile he is also on prednisone. He has to take the chemo every week for the rest of his life to try to control the spread of his arthritis. Apparently this condition makes his joints and bones "squishy" and extremely painful. He has it in his shoulders, elbows, back, hips, ankles, and heels. I so appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers that have been coming for my family. I KNOW for a fact that YT prayers work. |
