I know that there are a few that know what is going on with Emma, but I will fill the rest of you in a little. I apologize in advance if I get long-winded...just in my nature. :p Last week, Emma started enlargening her eyes ("bugging" them) for no apparent reason. It then progressed to not only her eyes doing this, but also darting them from side-to-side. The enlargening of them had gotten to the point that it was all day long. Needless to say, that leaves a mommy VERY worried and left with all sorts of scary thoughts as to why she is doing this. Her doctor appointment was very thorough and my husband and I left feeling better. Her doctor did a lot of different tests (no blood work or anything like this, though)...she checked reflexes, REALLY REALLY looked her eyes over. Her concerns were the darting of her eyes and the reason for this. She told us that it COULD indicate some sort of pressure in her brain. Thankfully, Emma was doing much better today and her doctor thought that she didn't seem to have anything like this...but she did, on her own, go ahead and call a specialist and set up an appointment for Emma to go to next Friday. I have only seen her eyes having problems 3 times today!! So unless she shows signs of things changing and getting worse, we will wait and see what else is said next Friday. I am very thankful to know that I had so many people thinking of Emma today...you guys are incredible!!!!!
