What would you recomend for a clothing steamer and robots? i really want to cut down on my ironing...and i do my partners too. so i need a really GOOD steamer. anyone have suggestions??? and does those i robot vaccumms work well?? how do the furbabies react to them??? |
My only suggestion...don't do either:D If anything I buy (accidentally) of course has to be ironed, it goes to good will!! As for the vacuum, I don't know. Murfee would probably try to "kill" it like he does the vacuum. |
LOL my babies would too probably. plus it sounds a little too good to be true, and we are still potty training here...so it might runover a surprise!!! ewwwwwww. anyway just thought maybe the steaming would be easier. |
Iron?? What the heck is that??;) I have heard good and bad about the robot vacuums. I guess it depends on what kind of floors you have. Most people say they aren't worth it. |
My daughter has the robot that mops (scooba) and she absolutely adores it. She bought a house with WHITE tile on the KITCHEN floor. Who in their right mind puts white tile in the kitchen  - apologies to all who have white tile on the kitchen floor, but I just can't imagine. :( Anyway, she was moping everyday, so now she just runs the scooba almost every night. It does a fantastic job - but it is pretty noisy (her dogs don't bother it though) and it takes about 45 minutes to do her kitchen, which is not small but not huge either. I talked to a guy who has one that sweeps (hardwood floors) and he said it changed his life :D He was serious too! He said it was the best thing since sliced bread. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who has the vacuum. I rarely iron - I just throw things in the dryer for a few mins to get out most of the wrinkles - yes, I do iron a few things, but not many. |
my co worker bought a steamer from target and she loves it.. let me see if i can find which one.. |
I love my Roomba! Maddie chases it around the house and has a great time :) |
im going to ask her tomorrow and ill post it in the am... |
ok cool thanks for letting me know!!! lol i guess the majority consensus is to throw things in the dryer...i may just start doing that!!! lol anyway hum....i might try the roomba. and see how it works, im just afraid my babies will think that the vaccumm is a game and chase it! oh well a little more training wont hurt em. thanks for all the info peeps!!!!! |
I have been using My Little Steamer from Joy Mangano - she sells it on HSN -- I love it. It is so easy to use and it's not some huge thing that takes up a bunch of space. Joy Mangano My Little Steamer with Retractable Cord at HSN.com |
