You can find out the amount and date you will get it with this site.

IRS

They are doing the ones that did theirs dierect deposit first then the ones that did by mail.

Has anyone not received their check that was supposed to in the first batch? My dtr's said it had been deposited on Fri. but as of today it hadn't shown up. She checked at the bank and they said a bunch of people hadn't received theirs. What's up with that?

Thanks for posting this! I don't get a check because my parents can still claim me, but I checked on my boyfriends...it'll be here the 9th! :yay_jump:

Thank you so much. The IRS privacy policy IRS Privacy Policy states that they will not collect any personal info from you if you visit the site.
An irs link will show the little blue icon to the left of the www, that one did not.

We should have be in the first batch for direct deposit but I think its delayed since we didn't file until April 14th :p

No! Even though we work, we pay our own college expenses, we will NOT get a stimulus check!:( If your parents claim you and you are under 17 years old, your parents will get your money...but if you are over 17 years old, NOONE gets any money.

I found out that since I filed online and had the fees deducted from my refund the stimulus payment will be mailed instead of direct deposited :mad:.

If you chose the option to have your TaxACT filing fees deducted from your refund, the IRS sent your income tax refund to Republic Bank. The transaction fees and TaxACT's product fees were then deducted, and they forwarded the balance of your refund to your bank account.
Because the IRS is not working through the 3rd party banks to process the Stimulus Payments, you will receive yours by paper check."

So does this mean if I had my accountant file for me online and he had his fee taken from my refund I will have to wait for a mailed check. Even though I got my refund direct deposited?

All this tax stuff gives me a headache. According to the schedule I should have mine direct deposited today.

The check is in the mail.....
 
My girlfriend had the same thing,it was supposed to be depositied last Friday..nothing yet. I'm not getting ours until late June. I've decided to just put it in my savings for gas...LOL ...NOT FUNNY:mad:BUT TRUE!!!!

I got my paper check today:) They told me 5-16 or within 2 wks after so it came earlier than I thought. It was going to save it but I changed my mind and will put in on my charge.

I still didn't get mine yet. Now I'm expecting it to be mailed sometime in June. It is a real headache! Good luck everyone ;)

We got ours, but they messed up with the amount. (I heard their actually making a lot of mistakes) so my fiance has to call them.
