dish washing mits- anyone make these?

My mil gave me two of these dish washing mit thingys and I really like them. I'd like to get some more, are any of you making these? I know they would be a snap to make but I really hate to sew. They look like they're made from dish towels maybe and one side has a layer of some kind of netting for scrubbing. Here's pictures of both sides.

They look like they would be really simple to make if you can find the netting.

Nikki, do you use Etsy? I think I saw some on there that were similar but they were knitted. I would think it'd work the same though.

There are so many on Etsy I am completely overwhelmed.:p I know someone here posted that they make the crochet ones.

Yeah and they would keep me from using a dirty sponge. I always try to remember to run my sponge through the dishwasher but I only remember half of the time. Troy burned one in the microwave once and the smell was so awful I don't do that anymore either. The cloth rags seem so much cleaner.

Haha. That reminds me of when one night on the news they recommended microwaving your spong to clean all the bad stuff and the next night they had to correct the story and saying you had to wet the sponge first because so many people did it and they caught on fire!

LOL, ours was wet but Troy nuked the holy crap out of it. It was nasty!
