Oh, I am oh-so-jealous!!! I really, really want a Wii but me&my hubby can't find them anywhere! ARGH! I love playing MarioKart on my Nintendo DS&I'm sure that playing it on Wii is just as fun. *jealous*

I cant wait to get you my code. I LOVE Mario Kart...I just unlocked a few characters and courses this weekend....I'll post my number when I get home from work :D

LOL. It was fun! I swear you aren't bad!!!!

I know there was one time when I cut around you and hit you with a turtle shell at the end of the race and I felt bad! I ended up being like 2nd? If it wasn't me then it would be you.

I've been playing mario kart since it came out wayyyyyyy back and I've unlocked mostly everything now. No worries!

You were playing perfectly fine. It's just hard when items are coming at you from every direction.

Some tips:

Drift + boost....always helps
Don't forget to do tricks after a jump!

It was funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

yes that was me!!!! lol i was like YEAH im going to finally win something...and then...well maybe not. LOL so here is our questions...how do you drift and boost??? and the tricks?? do i just shake the remote??? becuase i tried that and nothing happened! and how in the world does everyone just fly off in the start of every race....LOL me and brandon are ALLLLLL WAYSSSSSS stuck at the start line looking like idiots becuase we cant figure out the boost off or whatever everyone else is doing to get started so quickly!

Ok.
Drifting and Boosting 101:

To drift you hold the trigger button [also known as the B button on the underside] on the remote [not nun-chuck]. Drifting is like pulling on your emergency brake in a real car. Your back end starts to 'drift.' You always do this on turns - sharp or not. If you drift long enough, you will see sparks on the end of your bike/car and then right after you let go - you get a quick little boost.

Tricks 101:

The moment you fly off a jump, you shake your remote. I mean....the INSTANT you start soaring...you shake. That gives you a short little boost when you get back on the ground. Remember....even little jumps and bumpy hills count!

Boosting in the beginning:

During the 3, 2, 1 stage....you press on the gas during the 2 to 1 part. Not right when it turns to two, but maybe a second after. Just hold down the a button and usually you should always get a boost right when the light turns green! :)

There you have it! Those 3 are the keys to winning in MK. :thumbup:

thank you sooooooooooooooooo much for the classes!!!!!!!!! lol im kicking butt now!!! lol i learned all that stuff from...and brandon keeps saying....how do you do that????? he wins everything!! its about time i win a few things for a change! anyway i cant wait till i see you online!
