Anyone doing anything fun tonight?
 
I'm going to a Lee Brice concert at a local sports bar! :D

I've trying to change my mind about going, since I'm going by myself.. but I keep telling myself that I just never know who I might meet.

But I hate the awkwardness of just sitting/standing in the bar by myself. And I won't be drinking since I have to drive.

Hopefully I'll run into someone I know or someone worth chatting with.


So anyone else doing anything fun tonight?

We are going to a bar to listen to a band also.
Go and have a fun time, I'm sure you will find someone there that you know.

i'm dog sitting and the dog has the runs. i was supposed to go to my moms vacation house , but her dog is sick. we were bartering dog sitting for her beach house. now i'm stuck home.:(

Tonight we're watching the Tigers trying to let the Twins win...again. Trying to warm up from this afternoon's "First Weekend in May at the Beach" experience.
We went to our local beach bar, Capt Jack's opened today for the summer, for lunch and the live band (see pic below). It was 52* & the front end loaders and backhoe's were making so much noise outside and the wind and sand & rain were blowing so much that everyone else was inside eating and drinking. Capt Jack's does not have heat so they stoked up the fireplace to make it more like home & the band moved inside with us to get warm.
The loaders were moving the sand away from the snowfence's that criss/cross the beach (to hold as much sand and snow as possible in the winter) so that the backhoe's could pull the fence stakes out of the sand...another part of the experience. Kind of like watching paint dry, but it was something to do on a crappy day.

I had a busy day. It was international scrapbooking day and i scrapbooked at a local highschool with many others :) so i was pooped by the end of the day... we went out for supper and then came home and groomed Layla.. now we are watching The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Tomorrow I am going to the Soo for a few days. I'm going to miss Layla so much!

We're getting ready to play Mario Party on the Wii then headed to bed early. I gotta be to work at 8 in the morning:(

Thanks! The concert was pretty good.. I was front and center. Then obnoxious WASTED guy moved up next to me..totally ruined my fun time.

Then I ran into and old friend (who has been more than just a friend a couple time), well I was going to hang out w/ him afterwards and then he ditched me to go somewhere else...grr...

New Day...I had fun!
 
I have been working on my back patio and my front. Lots of new plants front and back. I have created a 'haven' that is just so pleasurable. It is great to sit at the table now, and have a few glasses of wine. I have enjoyed the evening so thoroughly, I need to go to gotobed.com

I hope you guys all had fun!! :)

Last night I didn't do much. My cousin (my cousin's son) is turning 6 in a few days, so he had his birthday party yesterday. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe he's turning 6 already!
