Hot Fix Applicator Recommendations??? I am thinking about buying a hot fix applicator. There are several different brands and types out there. Ones with an on/off switch, not requiring a stand, shorter shaft for more ease and control, etc. If anyone has any experience with them what brand or kind would you buy? Which is the best? It seems that all the features I think I would like do not all come on one tool Which features are most important, etc.??? Any tips or suggestions on using it? Other things to consider or buy? Best place to buy transfer paper, etc. Thanks in advance, Nancy |
I have one and love it!!! I'm not sure what the brand is...it's in the bedroom and Blake is still sleeping. I'll post it whenever he wakes up. I bought it at Hobby Lobby. It's pretty simple to operate and doesn't take a lot of practice to get the hang of it. If you can find one with an on/off switch, I think that would be handy. Mine just plugs in and it's either hot or it's not:rolleyes:. Also, mine has a stand to lay it, but it's not very stable so most of the time I lay it off the edge of the table. Just make sure the one you get has lots of different sized tips included with it. Last weekend, I used it to attach crystals to a veil for my friends wedding and it worked like a charm! I just used parchment paper to lay underneath the veil. |
Thanks! I will check back for your post. |
Did ya think I forgot? Sorry, I was just sitting here and all of a sudden I remembered this thread! I have a Bejeweler Stone Styler. It came with a stand and 8 applicator tips. |
