I love the way it looks too, but I've read that many breeders keep the beard wrapped in a band to keep it from getting wet all the time. So it's like if your have a hard time now keeping her fresh looking, how hard is it if they have a full beard? Anyway, after I read that I chopped Joey's beard off because his did look messy, but maybe this isn't always true.

Lacy's face is kindof shorter-medium length, and Rylie's is really starting get long now and their faces never get wet when they drink. Just barely wet around their lips. and I just use plain stainless steel bowls. The only time their faces really get wet is when we go outside and the ground is really wet. They do make special bowls for long-haired dogs too...Ladymom posted a link once. It has a smaller hole in the middle of the bowl so they just get part of their muzzle & tongue in but keeps the long hair out and dry

I love the length of her face now, but honestly she would be adorable shaved, NOT that I'm suggesting that! I'm just making the point of when you have it, you have it and she's got it!!:)

Typically female :). Nothing wrong with that...I think most of us like change - that's why we have so many pairs of shoes! Anyway, before doing something semi-permanent to Tater Tot, move some furniture! Rearrange a room, and see if that satisfies the need for change. Maybe it's a Spring thing, and will pass. LOL

Ok, just to put you all at ease - TATUM STILL HAS EVERY STRAND OF HAIR ON HER BODY THAT SHE HAD BEFORE :D :p

I won't lie, part of me still wants to do it but the bigger part of me just can't make myself actually TURN ON the clippers when I get them out...lol. :rolleyes: Go figure!!

I am totally goofy and have now decided that I may even want to just go all the way and let her face grow out too :eek: What do you guys think??? Or should I keep that shorter like it is now?? I don't know what is wrong with me - I guess I am just wanting to play around and change things up a bit...but I don't want to regret anything in the end either :(
the good news is that it is hair...so if you grow it and don\'t like it...you can cut it again. then again....if you cut it and don\'t like it...it will grow back :D

i\'m no help, i know LOL

i cut all of maggie\'s off and hate it...so i am growing it out again LOL
