Please let me know if you find a pattern or a site that tells you how to do this. I want to do this with my college/ sorority shirts. |
I have never seen one, but it sounds like an AWESOME idea! Hurry up and get started so you can finish and take pics. I wanna see :D |
I made one years ago, using hubby's torn and too small t-shirts. I laid them all out on the floor and cut them into the same size blocks. Then, I just sewed the fronts together for the top and the backs together for the backing. I tacked it together without batting and hemmed the edges together. When the g-kids are lounging around, that's the first "covers" they go for. My g-daughter brought me dozens of her cheerleading t-shirts to make. That's about the third task down on my list. I'm going to cut the shirts into blocks and put strips of fabric between these shirt blocks. |
My supervisor made one. She used black material between the tee-shirts. It was gorgeous. Very classy. Another lady made one and used denim from jeans. I have instructions for my supervisor's quilt. I'm sure if you googled it you would find one that suited you. |
i just looked it up on google and there are tons of websites with directions and pictures! im going to do the cutting and designing of it and my mama is gonna sew it all together for me! haha im not much with a sewing machine! |
Good for you!:bravo: |
