Withdrawl syptoms I used to be on Effexor 150mg. My doc decided it was time to get off. So here I am Ready turn die and its been 3 weeks!!!! I did the half dose for a week, no prob, the half agian for a week no prob. Go to no dose and Im dying. :thumbdown I feel like Im being electuted every 6 seconds or so, every muscle in my body is aching and Im nausous. I know theres nothing I can do and I was warned this is normal but UGH!!!!! I feel for anyone who has withdrawl from now on. Oh and after all this I might have to go back on it! |
Yes I know the feeling, I took them few years back. Hubby and I were on the way down the road about 20 min from from home, but only 5 mins away from where we were heading. I was balled up in the back seat crying take me home... I was not warned of any withdrawl syptoms. I would never go on them again. At first they worked great and as time went on blahhhhhh |
Bless you! I just finished coming off Effexor and I wasn't warned about the withdrawal symptoms either. I did half doses for about 4 weeks before I completely came off it. It was #ell. I'll never take anything like that again. Brain shivers are the worse thing I've ever been thru. Hang in there - I'll be praying for you. |
I've tried going off of Lexapro several times, but those brain zaps keep me on them! I'm completely pi$$ed at my neurologist for ever putting me on them in the first place. He insisted I was depressed and I insisted I wasn't. In the end, he convinced me it was the best thing for me and now I'm stuck on them! :( I hope you get over the withdrawls soon. I know it's tough. |
I hate that also. Every time I moved my eyes, I'd get that brain zap. Ugh. |
