Miss You All I sure have missed coming into Yorkie Talk and pray you and your fur babies all are doing well. I don't know how long it will be before I am back. Jack has found the Arcade, he sure is enjoying playing many of the games (Thanks Connie for telling us it was here) golly, all this time and I never noticed them  I need lots of healing prayers, I cry out to the Lord so much to help me but it just isn't easing up. I have apointment Tuesday morning with my Orthopedic am praying that God will direct the treatment in another direction because therapy only seems to have made me worse. Then again, am told sometimes it goes that way before one can get better. I appreciate your prayers so much. Thank you. Patti and Jack Prairie Bea, Dollie Dae and Baby Blessing |
Dearest Patti & Jack, please be assured that we all have missed you also. I'm sorry to hear that the therapy continues to be painful for you. I was hoping to hear that you would be feeling better and on the road to recovery. I begin my therapy next week for my back and I am a bit nervous, but hopeful that it will be helpful. It's funny you mention the arcade Patti, I had no idea that it was there either, but I am hesitant to try it out, because I know that I will be hooked. LOL As always, you are in my prayers and in my thoughts. Hugs to you, Janie |
Patti & Jack, We've missed you too. I've never gone through physical therapy, but I've known a lot of people who have, and I've been told that it hurts for the first little while, and after that it starts to help. I hope that you get past the painful stage very quickly. Sending prayers. Megan |
Patti, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with all of this. Please know that our love and prayers are coming to you! |
Patti - thanks for stopping by. Therapy for herniated disks in the neck can be very painful and sometimes will only make the pain worse. That was the case for me. The only relief I find is through my chiropractor - but that is very controversial also. Most orthopaeds will tell you to stay away from chiropractic, but I completely trust mine (he is a dear friend) and he adjusts me different because of the herniation. I hope you find relief soon. Glad Jack is enjoying the arcade games!!! Hugs to you all!! |
Patti, your wonderful, caring posts are missed by everyone. Sending prayers that your therapy goes well and you'll be back soon. I'm glad Jack is enjoying the Arcade - I know I do;). Take care, Sweetie and get better quick. |
Patti and Jack we miss you both so much on YT. Patti I know how much pain you are in as I have two herniated disks in my lower back (L4&L5). It took me a long, long time to get better (that was over 10 years ago) and just recently the pain is getting better (last two years since I found Pilates and Yoga). But even after all the exercise if I overdo it I still feel it. It never goes away - just try to find a way to manage it. I pray that you don't have to have surgery but sometimes that is the end result. How many times a week are you going for physical therapy? They had me in traction, ultra sound and deep tissue massage plus tons of at-home exercises. Ultra sound and deep tissue seemed to be the two that worked best for me. |
