oh Denise , i feel awfull for you ! Sending you hugs and prayers ! |
Poor Denise! Maybe her daughter's allergies are from ripping up the carpet? I know lots of allergens hide under carpets. I just hope she's not allergic to Maddie, that would be awful! I will pray for Denise and her family and hope things start looking up soon. |

thanks everyone for the suggestions, i try the cream stuff, heck i'll try anything. and i'm not sure but i think they test just is a general dog. we'd thought of the new food allergy thing too. were just trying everything. it was a sad truth how the dog allergy test came out. we'll try the 2 week thing, it can't hurt. except it makes me extrememly sad being away from maddie for 2 weeks and i wonder what she will be thinking. she love the lady we're taking her to and its a familiar place and i'll be visiting every day or two. which i'll have to change my clothes afterwards. its a very difficult time right now for me, but you know what, someones always worse off and my problems i'm sure seem little compared to what a lot of people in the world face, so i guess above from all this stuff, i'm still blessed and can't compain. never said i can't be disappointed and sad:( |
Prayer's coming for you Denise. I hope everything is going to work out for you! |

Thoughts and prayers headed your way in abundance.:) |
We've had a change in plans. Our next door neighbors are a retired couple and just love Maddie. Everything she is out they either come over or we take her over there. Maddie's been to inside the house and they just love her to death. Well they knew everything that was going on and they called me when I got home and said, why don't you just let us keep Maddie for the 2 weeks, that way you can come see her everynight and it won't be as hard on you and Maddie. Of course Lauryn can go see her too, but not Lexi:( We have to take our clothes off before we come into the house and put them straight into the washer. They are coming to clean all my carpets and furniture today (very costly) then new carpet is getting installed in the living room on Monday. (I found the pad that has the plastic barrier.) So things are going ok i guess. I still can't help but think its not Maddie but the next couple days should really tell us. The doctor said if she is not exposed to the thing she is allergic to then the rash should start to fade and be gone within 4-5 days. As bad as i want this whole thing solved, I'm hoping the rash wont fade. (I know that is terrible) Lauryn is back to feeling really good, we just have to watch her a little more closely and keep an eye on her blood pressure. She goes back next week for another check up Everyone was sad that Maddie was gone last night, but it really did help knowing she is just next door. I'll keep ya all updated! Thanks for all the prayers. Oh and I went back over to visit Maddie later on towards bedtime and she was as happy as can be. She came over all excited to see me and then guess what she did......The little stinker went back over and climbed onto Jane's chair and layed back down in her blanket. (I was happy that she was happy, but a little sad that she just dizzed me. ) lol |
I hope everything works out for your family! :) |

What a hard lesson for Lauryn to deal with - this has been an education for me. So happy she is improving |
