Long Door Windows... For those of you that have long ,tall fron windows that are on both sides of the door what do you put on them? I currently have only 1 wondow panel on them each , I am wondering if maybe I should add 2? They just look so plain... how do you dress them up? Thanks for the help!:) |

Hi Cindy....The only thing I can offer is that frosted film that is put on windows....but if your worried about them looking plain I don't know if this would offer enough for you....there is also films made to look like stained glass... Wallpaper For Windows: Decorative Window Film |
Mine are not covered - the dogs like to look out those windows :) |

I have a really large window almost to the floor that's right beside the front door and since the dogs love keeping an eye on the goings on outside, I just put a sheer curtain that doesn't go all the way down. They have a foot of peeping room left at the bottom. :p If I had the type of windows you have I would either put those little accordion type shades or the cling on things that you can get all sorts of patterns and it looks exactly like stained glass. Home Depot sells them. |

Im going to look into those cling on things.. when we were looking at building our house I fell in love with this lot because it had a street right in front so you could just drive straight up the driveway...:D BUT at night people could literally park and look inside .....sooo we put solar screens for during the day now I needed something in for the night,.. but actually I bought 2 panels in a faux silk and they look good and do the function I needed.. thanks!:) |
