It is so freaking hot outside. I took Stewie out and couldn't even breathe! My mom, my best friend and my boy are going to the White Sox versus Red Sox game today at Comiskey Park! We are going to die of heat exhaustion. |

Today is a lazy Sunday for me. Babysitting later, but in all cases, I'm staying in the AC!! |
its 5pm here in UK, iv been to the gym took rosie out and am now sitting on the sofa watching it RAIN yes its true what they all say bout UK it rains and rains ha ha. going to the cinema tonight to see fab 4, then when i get back take rosie for her walk in the rain she will be wearing her rain mac and il get wet, must get a mac too. wendy and rosie :rose: :yorkiesar |
It's 11:15 here and im still in my pjs as well lol. We are going in the pool all day today and then grilling later. Its suppossed to be like 110 today with the heat index. So hopefull ill be able to get a decent tan today. Have fun at the game today kristy!!!! Try and keep cool its gonna be a scorcher today. We will be thinking of you while cooling off in the water lol :rolleyes: |
I got up at 7am (Hallie standard time)! I have already done 4 loads of laundry, cleaned my bathroom, vacuumed, taken the monkeys for 2 walks.......still need to go grocery shopping (not my favorite thing to do) and I brought work home to do! And it's Sunday so I make SImon and Hallie chicken on Sunday for dinner. I'm tired now and need a nap ;) |
in like 20 minutes we are going to my little cousin's christining. (sp?) we get to go swimming and everything so i'm going to stay cool :p. have a great day everyone!! |
It says we'll get a high of 90 but right now it's only 84. The swimming pool is calling my name. I'll tell ya that RIGHT freakin' now. |

It's almost 10:00 am here in So Cal......I'm still in my pajamas too. Bathed the dogs made them and the husband breakfast. Did some laundry and now will take five to do something for me. Going to work this afternoon. :( . I want to stay home and PLAY and SEW and do fun stuff! Hot here too and chance of thunderstorms. Everyone have a good day! |

Well, I am supposed to go to a family reunion ( :tongue: ), but here in Lake County Ohio, it's raining cats and dogs! LOL! The funny part is, according to all of the weather people, it was supposed to be such a nice day. Oh well! WE NEED NEW WEATHER PEOPLE! LOL |

Got up at 8am and took Romeo out in the yard to help me pick up all the sticks and pinecones from a recent storm so the grass could be mowed...he had a ball...it was still wet from the dew and he got wet and dirty..I should have taken pictures!! I pulled weeds and pruned plants while my husband rode the mower and then he got the weed eater and I got the blower...worked to get it done as fast a possible since it's so flippin hot...after a shower and a nap, gonna take it easy in the AC til I have to cook dinner! I can't believe it's almost Monday! Boo! |
It's in the high 80's here as it was yesterday, with high humidity. I hate the humidity part, but I'll never complain about the heat no matter how hot it gets, because here in ND, we have such stinking longggggg, cold, freezing, snowy winters and I absolutely hate em! So when it's REALLY hot, I just think of freezing in winter and I'd take the heat any day! Today I've fertilized my outside flowers and now watering the lawn...then I'll go out and water the rest of my plants and flowers and fill the pond and birdbaths. I hope to get lots done today... the house looks neglected as I haven't been home much lately. Later this evening I'll probably go out to the state fair. Oh yeah...Maddie needs a bath too! Lot's to do! Hope you all have a great day!!! |
Its 109 here right now in southern WI. I went out and did a little yard work and just about fried. So I think I will stay inside for the rest of the day. I am supposed to shave down my moms dog but that can wait. NOthing like sweating your butt off and having husky hair stuck to you. Lovely feeling, let me tell ya. This is a record high temp wise here. On the local news here this morning they said to use the AC sparingly because the electric company doesn't know if the system can support all the AC users. Could cause a power outage. Nice huh?? If my power goes out Im gonna be ticked. |
i just came in from doing some stuff in the yard and i have one of the racerback tanks on its like a sports bra and i now have an X on my back grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i hate tan lines and its very hott out i had to keep bringing the dogs back and forth out and in cause god forbid they cant watch what im doing every 5 seconds lol keep kool everyone!! and dont cause a blackout!! and have fun being hairy reconsmom hEHE ! |
LOL. I just took Recon out for a dip in his pool. My neighbor (bless his heart he is a sweety) asks the stupidest question. I know he is just making converstation but come on. He asks " Hot enough for you??" I felt like saying, Nope I would like it to be as hot as the suns surface. LOL sorry just a bit hot and really not in the mood for stupid conversations starters. |
