Lol, the boyfriend snores bigtime..some nights are worse than others. Thankfully, we don't live together yet so when I want a really good nights sleep I see to it that we sleep alone. |
Troy isn't a snorer but one time he had a cold and was snoring a little. I nudged him and said, honey you're snoring. He said in the most awake and lucid manner, no I'm not, I'm not even asleep.:p It was so funny! I teased him about it forever but I think he is convinced to this day that he really was awake. Bless you wives of snorers! Any little sound drives me crazy in the middle of the night. |
Oh man...this sounds like my hubby too. It is so funny because he never used to snore....and now he is so loud. Even funnier now that I have Mia she is just as bad. It is so funny how such a loud ruckus can come out of a 3 pound yorkie. You all should feel bad for poor Murphy and I - ha, ha. All joking aside, I will let you in on my secret for a peaceful nights rest. You need to run out and buy yourself some ear plugs. I love mine and they work wonders. :D:D |
I'm the snorer in the house. Hubby tells me it's much worse when I'm congested. So I use nasal spray & nyquil, sometimes it helps, most the time it doesn't. Hubby and the couch are good friends. :D |
I agree that at times the snoring can be "funny" and annoying BUT you need to consider the health issues also. My husband finally went for a sleep study and found out that his sleep apnea was SO bad - he stopped breathing 65 times in the first hour! They approved him for a c-pap machine immediately. Ever since then, the nights are peaceful!! This can be a very dangerous and serious condition so you might want to consider having your husband talk to his dr. Good luck..... and peaceful nights! ;) |
OMG!!!! could your hubby be my hubby's twin!! My hubby has a serious problem there are times at 4 am that i have contiplated using a pillow over his head (hahahaha kidding) (well not really):D The other night i was half asleep and so tired i was just drifting off and he starts snoring away. Well he was making me have nightmares in my sleep!!!! I was dreaming of being chased by a chain saw and it was so real i got startled and low and behold hubby sounded just like a chainsaw snoring away (serious):rolleyes:. I could have kicked him! It is very frustrating for me i have insomnia so bad that any sleep i get is precious so having to deal with him is very annoying, but i found it does help to roll them over LMAO!!! In turn i grind my teeth really bad at night so he has to deal with that lol. |
Sounds just like my house! I have the same problem. Husband snores. I have been using these wax type ear plugs and I try to beat him to bed too. He is the one that ends up on the sofa though! Ha. |
My fiance is a snorer and ughh it drives me nuts lol When he gets loud I kick him and when he wakes up I pretend im sleeping. It ususally gets him to roll over and the snoring stops |
My hubby is the same way, however he had open heart surgery and it was discovered that he has sleep apnea. He stopped breathing in ICU. Have him checked in a sleep study. |

It's amazing, I could have written that post for you. The snoring is bad enough but all the other strange noises really get ya, I'm expecting him to inhale part of the room one of these nights.:2omg: I do think that for some weight makes a difference, when he lost weight it was pretty quiet but now that is long gone. I'm almost positive he has sleep apnea, we're in the process of setting the appointment with a Sleep Center for testing. |
I So Know How You Feel - My Husband Snores And Snorts, All Night Long. It Used To Keep Me Awake And I Have Spent Many Night On The Sofa...... But Now Strangley Enough I Sleep Through It - It Really Doesnt Bother Me At All - How Weird Am I?????? Just My Luck Now I Will Probably Be Kept Awake All Night!!!!! |
You might want to have your hubby talk to the dr. about his snoring. A couple we know were having problems with the husband's snoring, so he mentioned it to his dr. who sent him to a sleep clinic. They found he has sleep apnea and it was causing him to actually stop breathing at times. He had to have a bit of sinus surgery, and now he sleeps hooked up to some sort of machine. I don't know alot about it. My husband also snores horribly, and I mentioned it to his dr. at a check-up for a heart problem. As it turned out, my husband has sleep apnea too. Sometimes snoring is harmless, but it's always best to get checked out. Hope you get some sleep soon!:) |
I thought I was the only one who had a husband that loud. I swear he could wake the people up in town. I'm tired of going to bed tired and grouchy and waking up tired and grouchy, so I'm going to move him to his own room. I can't wait to get him out of our room. It's just gonna take a little bit of time and some extra money, but he's going!!! |
Luckily my Hubby doesn't snore, but Gracie snores from time to time...:rolleyes: |
