Oh darn it, I meant to record it. Ugh! I guess they'll be replaying it so I better check the guide. I am a total Lifetime movie dork. I don't work so sometimes when I don't feel like doing whatever I should be doing around the house I have a Lifetime movie day. On those lazy days I watch Lifetime movies but at commercial I try to get as much done as possible. I'm so bad that now I'll actually record a bunch in advance so I know I have some good ones to watch and then not fast forward through commercial and if I get really motivated I can just pause. LOL, there's my confession for the night.:p |
I missed tonight's movie, but I LOVE Lifetime!!!! Sometimes I wonder where my weekends go  |
Darn I knew there was something I wanted to see- No i missed it- but it's Lifetime-it will be on again-probly in AM!! LOL It sounds like a good movie- I have the Groomer show on- kind of watching it! the stuffed dogs were a surprised guest appearance!:D |
It's not showing on my Lifetime channel now, but they have been showing promos for it. From what I know, the woman has twins but one is born handicapped or mentally challenged or something....not sure. But, from the previews it looked as though the husband kept it from her and told her one of the twins died. Apparently, she finds out somehow later. |
I just finished watching it. It was pretty good. I read the book, and there was quite a bit that was not included, but it pretty much covered the general theme. If you liked the movie read the book. Funny how when you have read a book, the movie seems to not quite explain everything. |
i was too busy watching E!. |

Well i saw the rest of it, yep she did find out although i was confused thru the whole thing cause i don't know how it started lol If i were to read the book 1st i would have thought it was so much better, the books are almost always better cause of all the details etc |
If you liked the movie please view www.wheresmolly.net! I too am recording the show and watching it in its entirety tomorrow. I am so excited about this movie on a personal level. My Aunt was also sent to an institution and 50 years later after my Step dads parents died, Jeff found Molly's social security card in his father's wallet! So much has happened to our family since he found Molly. My dad is a producer so in March 2007, he released a beautiful documentary called Where's Molly? since then, Oregon laws have changed, there is a book in the works and the same producers of this movie tonight are wanting to turn my Dads documentary into a movie. Its a beautiful story. Something I am VERY proud of. Feel free to view the entire sweet story at www.wheresmolly.net  |
I was watching ... it was good. Depressing, but good. I don't know HOW you can give up a child under those circumstances, but I guess at the time, that's what they did. |
I missed it, but im sure they will re play it sometime soon. Its on now but almost over.:( I have been wanting to watch it. |
I heard it was a great book too! I miss lifetime. We don't get it (in Canada) I think you gotta have the 'expensive' package! |
I saw it tonight. I thought it was a gorgeous movie. A magazine I read gave it a horrible review, so I was expecting to dislike it, but I thought they did a wonderful job. Some parts would have been very confusing if you hadn't watched it from the very, very beginning, because there were a lot of flashbacks involved. I haven't read the book (its collecting dust on my bookshelf), but I'm going to have to after seeing the movie. |
I watched the Memory Keeper's Daughter, too. There were movies on about all day Saturday on Lifetime. My two sons and granddaughter made a trip to Illinois on Friday for my ex-husband's funeral, my sons' father. They came home on Saturday after the funeral and got home about 10 p.m. The trip is a little over six hours. They were on my mind, of course. |
I watched the movie and I thought they done a pretty good job, but I did like the book better-but I always like the book better, so nothing new for me, LOL I thought the ending was kind of rushed it seemed...but I still plan on watching it when it comes on again-it was pretty good. :) |
It's on tonight at 6:00. I alread set the recorder so I wont forget. Looks like Monday might be a Lifetime movie day.:p |
I saw the movie last night, too. I thought it was very good, but now I want to read the book. I got stuck on Lifetime yesterday because of all the movies that were on that were made from Nora Roberts' books. I just love her stuff, especially when she writes as J D Robb. |
Yeah, I watched it last night, too. It was really good. I'm sure the book would be even better. |

Good! I will watch it tonight. I usually watch lifetime all day on Sundays. Love it and I get so hooked. |
I read the book... I liked it, but it was very deep.... I tried to watch the movie last night, got about 15 mins in and decided that I just was not into the whole deep thing and changed the channel. I wish I could have recorded it or something. Was it good? Did you watch it? |
