I think I might take break from it for a month. Maybe all these stupid story lines will be over by then. I am soooo sick of the Ashley, Nick and Sharon and Deacon and Amber story lines!! The writing really sucks anymore. Maybe it's time I give up soaps!

I see it at 7PM. It is also on Sat all evenings. I still watch cuz my life isn't very exciting. LOL When Victor retires or Nikki goes it just will never be the same. I really want to see Jack and Victor have a real truce and let others have a new feud. If all the death etc hasn't taught them, it never will. I think it is weird that Nick is the dad and Victor really the G dad same gene pool of ASHLEYS baby. I would hope somehow Sharon or Nick feels a connection with the child and starts asking questions to reveal the truth of Faiths' Identity. By Christmas I hope!

Soap Magazine says Eric Braden is angry and might leave the show due to salary cuts. The show could never be the same without him. What would Nikki do without him? I love/hate Victor.

Last day he is on is Nov 2, 09 I am NOT happy about this. It will Never be the same. Who will Jack fight with? Adam? Not the same. I hate Adam. I bet he makes it w/Sharon eventually. YUCK!

Victor and Nikki are both leaving on Nov 2. They wrote Nikki out too without any warning. They are not killing them off just sending Victor to rehab indefinitely. Eric Braedon says he will not be back for sure, not sure about Nikki. I doubt she'll come back after all the BS

Wow I never thought $$$ would come to this show..I've been watching since the late 80s and never in a million years thought that Victor and Nikki would leave. I know it started to get crappy a few months back but I figured something was really up when the story line went into the direction of Ashley getting the ranch in the divorce settlement..that would never happen if he were staying.

I hope that both actors take a nice long vac and see them on some other soap soon.

I am very bummed about this. I knew they couldn't stay forever but it will never be as good ever. The world itself ain't what is used to be. People being rude and cruel etc. So Tho this is only a soap and not real, it should not effect my lil' life. But I am very disappointed.

I thought we got rid of mary jane.....now we have TWO "2" of her!!!!! Dang! I will keep watchin' but not happily. If Nick goes, I am dropping the show.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Eric and the head honchos at CBS have turned the tables and have come to terms with a new contract - Eric will now be staying with the show! Eric's rep. stated, "Eric has agreed to return to Y&R."

Hi, Yorkie talkers. I am going to start watching this show and participating in this thread. I watch All My Children. Seeing The Young and the Restless thread on this forum all the time makes me want to watch the show. I hope I like this show. I hope this thread will help fill me in on what's going on in this soap. Please stop by often. I am sure you can read all the info of Y&R history...who has been married to whom more than once for Nikki to Victor, Ashley twice to Victor also. Sharon and Nick episodes, etc. It can get confusing. But I am glad Eric is staying......will be back and Nikki too ? They are a pair that must never be separated! If Hinchos want us happy, be good to the actors. Deacon can go and Rider too. He can" Rider "off into the sunset asap.
