In my opinion the writers are way out of control....Y & R is a mess and they need to get some good writers to fix this big mess. I am so not impressed....I have been watching for probably 30 years now and this is the worst mess I have ever seen on the show. So frustrating!!! |
There have always been weird trials Like that Sheila stuff and Phyllis being sheila. Nina and the crazy husband who got crushed in the trash compactor. Eva Longoria before famous AND Cricket. Mrs Chancellor and the impostor.....that was funny! Silliness with Johns' ghost......paleeze. It is all weird. I hate courtroom dramas most. can't watch those judge Judy type shows. Ok, so you are annoyed. Tell us what you would prefer to see happening? That is why we talk here. I would like to redecorate the Abbott mansion and all the sets. Chancellor livingroom is al we ever see. Like where is the den? Never see the kitchen etc. At least Cane and Lilys house was interesting like on HGTV. Also the ranch is not so glamorous. I want to see the older version of Abby. If Noah is older, so is she. ANNNNND where the heck is Esters daughter all this time????? Let's write our own Y&R! send to writers. Does anyone ever write to them and complain? I AGREE it is frustrating but I still tune in daily. |
:rolleyes: I've been watching for 20 years now. I thought Nikki did an excellent job playing a drunk on Monday's show. I'm sure Victor is still alive too. Eric Braeden always disappears for awhile every year. He's probably just on vacation. I really wouldn't mind if he left the show though. I'm sure that won't happen. I also agree about the Cane and Chloe storyline being insane. But, that's soaps for ya. I've noticed thru the years that there's always some big tradgedy that works out in the end to make everyone realize how important they are to each other just in time for Happy Holidays.lol |
I think Victor is still alive too. Nikki did play a convincing drunk! I hate the Cane and Chloe storyline. It's just dragging on! I really can't stand her. I think Adam is a jerk and will be sorry when Victor gets back. |
Funny what you said about all ends well usually on Christmas Eve. Remember when danny lost his singing voice? Able to sing at church Christmas Eve? This time Victor may have amnesia for a looooog time. Marry someone else yadda yadda. I doubt he will show up by Christmas.As soaps go, there isn't too much left to dream up unless Victor gets abducted by a space ship and lives on another planet and has a half alien child and wife.LOL. That wedding dress Chloe wore and the HAT ROFL. wet my pants funny. New Noah looks a lot like the younger one. I haven't checked his name yet to see if related. I still wanna see Esthers' daughter marry Billy or some such funny thing. Jill sure is mean to Katherine. I hate Jill more almost than Chloe. Could never like her. Sharon looks pretty with her hair up. Looked pretty today. Sharon is stupid but I like her ok. Are Ana and Tyra really gone? What was that all about? Oh and Nikki staying in Mexico alone? Oh my gosh!!! Adam is just so irritating!!! I can't believe he said that he asked for the death certificate because he's the only one that cares!!! Whatever, he asked for a copy because he is a greedy little punk!!! I love what Karen told him, and I hope Michael does protest the will and keeps it in court for a long time. And, normally until the will is read everything remains the status quo, so why are they letting him run around like he's in charge!!! So frustrating!!! And with all that excitement going on, did everyone fast forward through the Devon and little sister storyline...I know I did...boring!!!! |
You Guys are funny Devon and sis are boring. Are Ana and not-real-mom gone now? Tyra is fallin in love w/Neil and karen knows it! I am liking Karen better now. She doesn't appear coniving or sneaky or anything. Genuine I think. Adam? Welll, he is a little tyrant usn't he. In soap reality a BABYcan be infant one week and a yr. the next, go to camp age 10 and come back 16! So why wait for a will to be read? However, if both Vicki and Nick were fired or quit Newman and co owned by Newman where are their rights? They deserve to be his heirs, but Victors' real name is vindictive. LOL Oh, welll, I like it no matter what they write. Or I ff to next scene. Now when I watch I know you guys are too and it's fun to see what y'all are thinking.Gotta go, it's on now! Heres' a story line for ya Adam should have made Jack the CEO of Newman instead of Brad. Now that! would have really madejacks' day and when Victor returns watch those FIREWORKS!LOL But Brad will still make for interesting mess to fix. I guess it won't fail with Brad, as he probably can run it wellll to his advantage. |
Tapiocagirl, I enjoy reading your comments on Y&R. Have you ever gone to soapcity.com to read about the actors? They give Bio's on all of them. I read about the actor that plays Adams part. He's really a nice guy. It helps me not get so annoyed at them because they're just doing the part the writers write for them. I get more annoyed at the writers.:eek: |

Thanks guys I just ate some home made tapioca, hahaha. Really. Soap channel is just ending for today in USA. I see most scenes 2xs a day. Addicted? Yes, I hjave read all the Bios. I once thought that Thad Luckinbill was Lucy Arnezs' G son. Cuz Lucys' (actor) husbands' name in Luckinbill. But he is not. If we hate characters then they are GOOD actors. Nikki did do a good job of acti9ng drunk. Soooo, Heather isn't sick? She said a man who wants to ruke tghe world is sexy? Something like that. WHAT? So was Hitler sexy? She is naive. She WILL get hurt by Adam. Adam seems to be a popular name on soaps. |
There is another side of me too you don't know. I discovered a book called "THE SHACK" a few weeks ago. It was written by a man who was not a writer, except for friends and family and wrote it for his children. But God had other plans. It is transforming peoples' lives. The author is william P Young. Check it out. It is not an alagory but a fiction book, a parable. It is my fav book of all time and others say the same thing. My relationship with Papa is very real and deep. On their forum you would see a very serious side of me with some humor. I watched a video of his life story today. WOW. If your life has ever been a great sadness soap opera or even if it has not, this book will amaze you, and maybe change you forever. It starts out sad, but the whole thing is about the greatest relationship reconsiling of all. Check it out. Yes, I have been Like the character Hope, Adams' mom. Not blind, no farm , no kids, but similar in faith, for many years. LOVE really is the answer to everything. Unconditional LOVE. and with love, there can be forgiveness. |
