Heat heat go away
 
Whats the weather like where your at? Here they have warnings out because the heat index is over a 100 degrees. I am tired of it and just want it to cool down a little. You can't do anything its so hot.

At Noon in Phoenix we are in the 90's which for us is a relief!
We finally got some much needed rain last night and it cooled
off things nicely. Today we are only suppose to get into the
low 100's which after the past week of over 110's will feel great.

OOooh it's been very hot here as well. All week 105 - 110 :eek: And it's not supposed to get any cooler :thumbdown

yeah it is hot here too...... and i am near the BEACH!!!!!! I live in mission viejo and the temp has been 95, but with the humidity it feels like over 100!!! especially inside our apartment, it is MUCH hotter in the house then it is outside....... the temp at my moms house has only gotten in the 90s at the highest (she lives a block away from the beach so she gets the ocean breeze)

I'm originally born & raised in Alaska - Ketchikan to be exact - and still have some family up there. I was talking to my mother yesterday and she was complaining about it being 68 up there :eek: I was like 'Puhlease' come deal with this heat! LoL But then again, the whole time I lived up there the hottest it ever got was 75

Its about 85 here with on and off thunderstorms. Plus we have a tire plant on fire not to far from us so they are saying that we shouldn't be outside or have our windows open. Lovely huh??



Sweltering at 70??? Yeah right, send some of that down here please.

OMG - Our outdoor thermometer reads 107!!! It is not in the sun, but it is under the ledge of our roof....so it may be a bit warmer there....but OMG!!

Sorry to rub it in, PinkMartini and the rest. I just got back from North Carolina, where it was 85, humid and WAY to hot for me. I don't know how you deal with the 90s and 100s.

Come visit the UP of Michigan the nights have been in the 60 sometimes even the 50's. The days have been averaging between 70-85 this week. It is suppose to be hot tomorrow.... But we haven't had any rain- I keep praying for the farmers because it is not looking good for them at all.

Today in Texas it's 105 with a heat index of 120. Wanna trade?

We're always in the 90's with the heat index being in the 100's. Tell your mom we're all moving in with her till the heat subsides.

It's been over 100 here all week. We spend alot of time in the pool but it's been so hot that the pool is 91 degrees. We put 6 larg bowles of ice in the pool adn swam arond them. But they quickly melted. Too much work and a waist of ice for just 4 or 5 minutes of cooler temperatures

Last week was really hot here- 90's with high humidity. This weekend was a lot cooler- 80's and so comfortable! We're supposed to get into the 70's at some point during the week. I'll take heat and humidity over snow and ice any day. I'm dreading the fact that it's almost August and almost the end of the summer because I know it's only a matter of time until I have to drive and walk in that stuff.

Of course, I haven't been in the 100's like some of you, but I say...Bring on the heat!! :D

Its 93 today and tha air is thick. Tomorrow is suppose to be hotter. I put Gidget in the pool with me but Max hates the water. I still put him in to cool off. HEHE

103 with the heat index today.... :mad: ... but we just had a HUge storm, ( I was recently under my desk) haha... but it really cooled off,,,for now.

It's been pretty warm in Lubbock, TX.. but after spending a week in Houston (where my mom reminded me that it's not as hot as it usually is) I was ready to get back to the Lubbock dry heat. The humidity in Houston makes me just feel so icky.

Hey everyone Ive been thinking of you guys in different parts of the states Our news reports have been saying you are having a heat wave so you have all been in my thoughts.Its winter here in New Zealand but for the last couple of days its been really warm which can sometimes be a worry as sometimes that means snow just around the corner. anyway keep the yorkie babies cool. :) dianne :)
