I really wanted to go see this exhibit before it left our area. It left when Cayden was in the hospital...

But they announced they were extending the exhibit... I am so excited!!!

I got my school to approve a field trip so I get to go for free:D :D :D

I went to see this exhibition a couple of years ago at the California Science Center. You will love it! I could go again :)

I saw it in NYC. It was great. I am a nurse but my grand daughter who is 20 was upset by the babies section.

When I lived in Oregon, 10 years ago, I went to OMSI and the had an exhibit on the birth cycle... It was a lot to handle so I did not let my young son go in...

He is older now and I asked him if he would be interested in coming with me, he said " oooo no"!!!:rolleyes:

I am dying to see the exhibit but I am a bit hesitant to see this one...this is the one that is under investigation for illegally getting bodies.

The original one by the german doctor is the legit on..I am still tempted to see this one for the learning potential. My daughters want to go.

The one with the asian bodies is a bit shady on how they get the bodies. A chinese politician brought to light the fact that asians revere their dead and would never allow them to be put on display like that. There are many questions as to how they acquire the bodies, how there is no record of who and where they come from. The center also says that they are affliated with a certain medical college where they get cadavers from but it turns out the school denies it. Then the reporter goes and digs and finds out where they are working on the bodies...it's not the school like they are saying. They had the curator sweating when they were showing him this stuff and calling him to the mat on it.

LoL no i just saw the ad and thought WOW that would be cool but i geuss i wasnt paying attention i never looked it up cause like i said Matt being working alot and didnt give it a second thought

This exhibit is amazing! I went this past fall for a class, I'm a biology student. I dragged my poor boyfriend along tho, he's an account. He def didnt have the stomach for it. I was walking around soo fascinated by everything, telling him oh i just learned this and that, and ooohing and aaahing. lol he thought i was crazy. you'll love it! im sure of it! i'm thinking of going again!
