Any Moms Still up I have a question about my skinkid(gross kinda) Ok CodY was Complaing of his stomach hurting earlier so i rub his tummy and gave him a lil glass of warm milk OK well i just went into our bathroom and he must have forgotten to flush BUT heres the thing his poo was greenish blue and i mean solid not just parts of it EWWW i know but is that wierd i think it is what could that mean or be ? he has been drink alot of OJ latley too |

Ok so My phone died while i was on hold im gonna call back but from what ive read online i should not be too worried unless it happens again and he has a fever as of right now he does not have one if he does get one we will be off to the ER as it could be food posioning PLEASE pray that this is not the case but he is Fast alseep and snoring to boot so i think he is okay ill be calling the advice nurse soon as my phone chargers more thanks for your advice if anyone else knows what it might be please post ill keep you all updated too thank you !! Sometimes if you eat cakes from the bakery that have lots of blue dye in the frosting it will do this. |
I know when my kids would drink anykind of grape juice or soda their poop would be green. Don't have any idea why but it always was. |
Childrens cereal will definitely do that(Christmas crunch, esp. I remember). My son ate a ton of twizzlers one day, it looked like a slaughter house in the toilet, scared me for a sec. till I remembered I saw him eating licorice all day long. I told him to never ever eat that much red stuff again because he gave me a heart attack! And the stomach ache comes from eating too much of a good thing. |
I hope his tummy his feeling better!!! I can tell you that certain types of candy or foods will definitely turn poop to strange colors. My son loves "junk food". Needless to say, over the years I have seen some strange colors in toilet!!!! :p :p Cotton Candy (the blue) is the worst!!!!!:p :p |
i ate red velvet cake mix once and and forgot but then after i used the bathroom i thought i was dying ..lol then i remembered eating the batter:D hope everything will be alright |

I have 6 kids, and whenever they have poop that color it is either from candy, frosting, or grape juice. Not uncommon at all. Its usually a darker teal color when they eat something very purple, blue, or green. I dont know how purple turns to green. Sorta like chewing corn and having it come out whole :D |

It's funny how moms know so much about their kids' poop:D It's just one of those things! My youngest boy has always had constipation problems, we throw a mini party every time he's gone. LOL I hope your son is feeling ok today! I've never seen green poop but I know my husband swears eating a box of fruity pebbles will do wierd things.:p |
Ok so Im Exhausted this morning i was on hold with the advice nurse forever!! When i was i finally able to use my phone again , But Great news its just from Too much Grape Juice (most likley) and hey alot of you said that. He is up bouncing around so everything is fine ,, I may have overreacted but ive personally never seen that but you know one of thoose better safe then sorry things !! thanks all of you again |

Awwww...glad he is feeling better today! I know, the first time I seen "colored poop" was when I was younger and I had been babysitting....I freaked out and called my mother at work....:cool: But, hey, you just never know! |
