I just saw it, I think they did a fantastc job:thumbup: |
I cant watch it. I just get too  :unlove: :sickie: . It makes me sick how some ppl can treat animals. Bless all of you who can watch but I just cant. And bless Oprah for getting the word out there that this criminal act cannot be allowed to continue. |
This is horrible. Lisa Ling is my hero, though. I just hope that this raises awareness and people will stop supporting these horrendous "businesses." |

so yes, it might turn SOME away from buying puppies from breeders all together, but I don't think it will have such a negative effect. I think it will help to open eyes and help people to understand they need to make a responsible decision...wether it be from a shelter or from a breeder. |
I just got done watching it. I cried the whole show. I felt it was very well done |

But I've been crying. Soooo many Amish.... It just makes me sick The worst was when they put those poor dogs to sleep. OMG...just tore me up |
yep i was crying:( I wonder how they are allowed to go in the puppymills tho, aren't the puppymill owners trying to hide it? If it were me i would try to go to as many puppymills as i can and take undercover cameras and try to get them closed and all the dogs rescued |
OMGosh they just showed the shelter in Ft. Worth...I can't stop crying. this is so incredibly SAD! |
I posted this earlier on another thread... I just watched the show and thought they did a pretty good job. The only other thing I wish they would have touched on is the that these puppy mills end up selling sick puppies because of their breeding practices (or lack of it). I wish they would have mentioned that responsible breeders check their bitches and studs for disease and congenital defects and don't breed ones that have any. Also, they didn't mention how many are being brought in from other countries - like Mexico - and sold out of the trunks of cars!!! Or the trauma that these puppies go through leaving their Mom's too early, traveling from the puppy mill breeders to puppy millers like The Hunte Corp and then on to Petland!!!! :thumbdown I cried and continue to cry for all of these animals... |

I think Oprah did a very good job today. I was pleasantly surprised...and am grateful for the show. I am not an Oprah fan. I have MAYBE watched 4 shows my whole life. But felt I needed to watch this one. and am very glad she did so. I just hope it reaches at least a few people...and can save some lives of innocent puppies. |
I was watching. Through my tears anyways. I cried the whole show. The worst part for me was the dogs being put to sleep. I can't imagine having that job. |
I have not watched it yet but i did tivo it |
i saw the half- and just cried every min.- except when they brought Shrimp out! I sat in my big ol' recliner w/ Banjo- and hugged him so tight! I cried - he licked my tears! Sad, sad, sad!! Way to many animals in this country! WAy to many- sorry to say that!!! i could not watch them do the neuter, though- |
