I love reading about my baby every week :D this is what it is saying about week 19

How your baby's growing:
Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces, and he measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. His arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of his body now. His kidneys continue to make urine, and the hair on his scalp is sprouting. This is a crucial time for sensory development: Your baby's brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. If your baby is a girl, she has an astonishing 6 million eggs in her ovaries. They'll dwindle to fewer than two million by the time she's born.

Aww congrats!! Im sure it is very exciting to see the changes!! Is the baby kicking yet?? Im not a pregnancy expert so im not sure on a lot of things. lol.
Im gonna go dig up all your updates and read them to see how the progress has been each time!! :)

Isn't that amazing?? - If your baby is a girl, she has an astonishing 6 million eggs in her ovaries. They'll dwindle to fewer than two million by the time she's born.

So much is going on in your body right now, and you know what is so powerful?? You really have very little to do with it, besides eating & taking care of your body. God does have a very wonderful plan at work when He allows a pregnancy.

i totally agree....and you know what amazes me??? is how all of this happens in only 9 months!!! I know it seems like eternity when you are pregnant...but when you sit and think about all of the wonders of the body, it is amazing how it develops so fast. in fact...9 months is not how quickly it happens...this baby is already, in 5 months....nearly fully functional. I mean...come on...how can you not consider this a total miracle? there is nothing more inspiring or spiritual, IMO, than having a baby. you look God straight in the face when you look into the face of a new born baby.

thank you for posting that. I honestly wonder if I should post them...but it is good to know that you enjoy them :) I will continue to post...I just think it is amazing to see how a baby develops and at what stages things happen :) I wish we could get these weekly updates with our yorkies when they are pregnant LOL

hmmmmmmm....maybe I will try to build a website like that...hmmmmmmmmmm IDEAS IDEAS :D :D

yes, I have been feeling it for about 3 weeks now..and I mean REALLY feeling it. kicking and punching the snot out of me LOL dh has felt it about 3 times. my dd is still waiting for her turn. i would say about 3 or 4 times a day..sometimes more...the baby is VERY active and I can almost predict when it will happen :)

I am really loving being pregnant. with my dd...i HATED it. my body didn't accept it AT ALL and i had some major side effects!!! this one is so different and I am really loving it :D

And just think, WE (women) are the only ones who can grow an entire human being!! Thats awsome!! Congrats and cant wait to see your progress. It was the best time in my life being pregnant! Enjoy every minute of it coz when you get to my age and that part of your life is gone, its sad. I think back on those days quite often now. But....I am growing into the grandma stage of life now, patiently waiting for new wee ones to come and go thru the joys of growing life w/ my daughter. Then.....when they come to see Nana, I get to spoil them, feed them lots of candy, give them a puppy and send them home!!!! LOL My daughter always says, MOM...dont you dare and I always say, you know I will!!!! LMAO Thats one of the joys of being a G-ma!!

:p Yes, as women, we are truly blessed to carry a new life inside of us. Babies are without a doubt a miracle and a blessing from God. I loved being pregnant with my too and wouldn't have traded it for the world. So glad you are enjoying your little miracle too.

I'm only a couple of weeks behind you. Yesterday I went to the doctor and he told me that I'm 11 weeks 2 days. yay!!! Is this your first baby? This is my second. That is my son in my avator. Congrats on being pregnant! Are you going to find out what it is??

I have a 7 year old daughter :) but this pregnancy is SO different than it was with her!!!!!!!!! :D

I will be finding out after May 9. My insurance won't cover prenatal care until then...so we are waiting! I'm so anxious to find out LOL

Congratulatons Mandee, I got goose bumps reading this!!! That's so exciting!! Please keep us updated I love hearing about this I am hoping that maybe next year hubby and I will try to have a baby!!
