Toto's Dad, Wyatt, to compete in Nationals!! Just spoke with our breeder ... Toto's dad, Wyatt, is competing Saturday [and hopefully Sunday] in the Nationals in Orlando!! We are very excited! He will be shown by his handler, Kristen MacGregor. We have our fingers [and paws] crossed for him!! ;) |
Go Wyatt...!!! I'm sure that Toto is already proud of her Dad but will be more so if he wins...!! Let us know please!! Ana x |
Thanks, Ana!! I was so excited .... I said it is in Orlando and it's in Tampa! Brain Glitch!! He competed in Orlando back in June! Will let you know! ;) Ava also said [I think I posted this in another thread] that she still has Toto's sister, Gracie! Boy, was I tempted!! Just don't think I could properly manage the attention I would insist on for two right now! I know myself and I know my limitations ... if it weren't for that I would be on a plane to Marietta today!!! ;) |
Hey guys! The Tampa Eukanuba Championship Dog Show is going to be shown LIVE on Animal Planet, according to the local news I saw this morning.......I'm tuning in! And Bettyeanne.....that's the second time you have mentioned Gracie's availability.....will you stop torturing me? GOOOOOO WYATT! |

Yeah, it's torture for me too! I would like nothing better than to have a little playmate for The Toto ... and a sibling would be too good to be true! However, I know myself and that would be just too much right now and certainly not fair to Toto or Gracie! :( |
Bettye! Give it no more thought 'cos you yourself know this wouldn't be the way to go - for you or Toto - if you are in nany doubt you foolow your heart..!! Toto and you are very happy right now and you do not want to change things!! All the best to you ..!! |
Bettyanne, I saw Wyatt on the AKC site for a minute (then he went away when I tried to bookmark it!) ... He had a blue ribbon by his name. Do you know if he won anything? I was really surprised to see such different colored yorkies in the pics they posted. I thought, from all I'd read, that there was this strict strict color tone they are supposed to have, but the depth of golds and blues varied a lot! Anyway, I am excited to hear anything you have heard from Ava. And as far as a second yorkie, BIG SIGH. We've got a full house now and there's no way I can imagine sharing love to any more. In some respects it's easier b/c everyone has a playmate, but I'm always busy with the dogs now. Gracie will find a good home -- Ava is such a good breeder it seems! |
It looks like he won best of breed right? |
Wyatt was beautiful! I was rooting for him. |
Oh the suspense .... not fair I can't watch it over here ..!! Please someone tell me what's going on ..!! |

Thanks to everyone for pulling for Wyatt and keeping your fingers crossed!!! We appreciate it and I'm sure Ava does too!! ;) |
Bettye - Shame he didn't win but he looks a real winner to me!! I was just going to ask SOMEONE for photos!! Wow he's a beaut!! I just (before reading this) emailed you a post on another yorkie forum re this - just click on the link!! |
He has the most wonderful expression! On the following site, if you choose the results link, choose breed results, choose yorkies in the pulldown menu, (last on the alphabetical pulldown menu) then it shows Wyatt on the fourth page ... #17. Hope this works: http://www.akc.org/invitational |
They still put bows in boy Yorkie's hair? Maybe I don't feel so bad torturing Yoda with similar hair accessories now. Wyatt has a beautiful coat and should have WON! We're not biased here or anything! :p |
Yep! Boys with bows! Can't tell that it damages their "male image" at all!! :) They are just so "macho" ... it's OK! Thanks, fasteddie .... we were a little biased too! His "family" was just so very thrilled that he was participating this year!! Who knows, maybe next time ... he's only 2 1/2, so he's young ... here's hoping! ;) |
