Remember my letter to the board? re: pits I just got a phone call at work from my Board's secretary. She received my letter and after questioning me about the two women who allowed their pit bulls to run around and be unleashed she shared with me that the woman is no longer on the board but there was a complaint against her only two weeks ago as well! Guess she dosen't care who complains or care about rules. I told her to tell the board to fine her! The nerve! Just wanted to tell you guys who supported me in my complaint to the board. Boy am I so happy I sent that letter now! |
Good. Some people think they are above the laws. |
I did not get to read the thread you posted but am glad you had a favorable response  |
Good for you Carol! I hope they do something more positive about it now. Sheilagh |
I'm glad - that needed to be done! good job!! But better plan ahead!! but now what if the dog is still allowed loose??? It sounds to me like she is not going to go by the rules at all! Next time someone is walking she may not call the dog back- she may never even try and leash it. Just becareful on your walks- their may be a big dog at large! Better be safe than sorry! |
Carol, you did the right thing. Maybe, if enough people complain, something will be done. Perhaps a petition is in order. |
Good Jon!  |
Yay---now you know it's not just you! |
you did the right thing! |
Glad to see things worked in your favor... And I totally understand you. I was recently at an off-leash dog park and felt so uncomfortable being around the bigger dogs. So I can only imagine being faced with an unleashed dog in public :) |
That's great!!! I'm so glad you did that and now you have confirmation that you did, indeed, do the right thing :) |
Good for you Carol!   |
You definitely did the right thing. I can't believe someone else wrote the same note about her only 2 weeks ago! You think she would have learned! I hope she now keeps her dogs leashed. |
