YT Thread Awards?
 
There have been some award winning threads here at YT. Some are legends and some are new. I couldn't find that anyone had ever done this, but I think it would be fun to recognize some of the threads that have touched us in some way. Here are a few off the top of my head….. :number1ri

Aww, I am honored that a few of my threads made your list. YT is a great place and there are SO many wonderful threads/people here. I love coming here to unwind (even if I should be writing a paper instead). LOL

ROFLMBO - I was hoping for some "classics" that I'd never read!! Those are both hysterical!! I only got through the first couple of pages of each so far, but I'm going on to read the whole things!! :lol tears

But basking is so much more fun that researching/writing about parents being abusive... :p Sometimes I just need a break or gets too overwhelming or depressing.

Oh thanks!! Do you know how long it took me to get that image out of my head the first time I saw that?? Now it's back. "Most shocking" is the perfect award name tho! :D

Remi's first award - WooHoo! Does that mean he the Golden Dingleberry Award? Now I'll have to go buy a mantel to display it on, lol. Maybe I should have just kept the original and had it bronzed - remember? Like your first pair of baby shoes. I could hang it from the mirror in my car - yeah, that's it. Perfect! I'd like to thank all the members of YT, the vets that saved my baby, and most of all, the makers of the dog food that caused this all to take place. If it hadn't been for them, Remi would be just another yorkie. Thank you one and all :D . Now I must go clean my car so the award will sparkle as it hangs in the window.

PS-Great thread. There are so many memorable threads. That's why this is such an addicting place.

Oh my! I think Sladesmommy needs you to help write her acceptance speech! ;) Oh - and you had me rolling with the "Golden Dingleberry Award" I think Remi deserves an "acting" award for that too. That was nearly one of those overly dramatic death scenes! :sidesplt:

Oh my, I am a teary mess! This occurred before I returned to YT and with a new puppy, I didn't have time to do much digging. But Papi's Train definitely gets a big award. .... actually EVERYONE in those threads gets an award!!

I've read the first two and last two pages of each thread you posted plus the link posted inside the first thread. I will now go back and work on all the pages in between. Simply Amazing.....

In addition to a few laughs, that is exactly what I'd hoped to get. I knew there were amazing stories that were before my time. Those stories need to be told and retold to remind our new members what YT is REALLY all about.

Thanks for posting the links for those of us that weren't a part of it... but surely wish we were!

There are so Pretty Amazing People here on YT. Bre and I really Love taking Patti Cake to Papi. That was one Of the Many time YT Became a Really Loving Family to me :love:

Jack and I hope Papi will be back posting one day, till then we can only keep him in our prayers that he has regained back good health, that he is doing well and that he and PattiCake are enjoying so many fun times together.

We will never forget the love shown by you Lori and your daughter Bre in making the long trip back to Pennsylvania and Bre placing PattiCake into Papi's arms. What a wonderful happening that was to so many of us here at YT, shows the love in the hearts, that so many YT'ers share.

We can only pray and hope as many others do, that one day Papi will be back to YT posting to us all.
