Survivor
 
Does anyone watch Survivor and if so what did you think about tonight's episode, especially the cave segment?
WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT????? :confused:

:eek: Did a new survivor start??? WTH??? I'm pissed.. I'm so out of the TV loop! How many episodes into it are we??? I hope I can pick it up! I HATE missing the first few... I hope I'm not too late! I LOVE Survivor! :thumbup:

My dh is a big reality fan so we watch most of the shows, but tonights episode really captured my attention, because while they were in the cave this big " thing" crawled up into them and let's just say that it looked like the biggest bug I have ever seen ...it's antennae span was huge....! We have TiVo, so we backtracked a few times and we still cannot believe what we saw. :eek:

I don't know what it was but it was creepy but then most of those creatures are. I couldn't believe that Kathy quit.

Do you agree, that thing was the biggest bug I have ever seen in my life.
The antennae ( spelling? ) was enough to scare the heck out of me... the span ran from between the eyes to below the breast.
If I was that person who decided to leave ( I can't remember her name ) ... I would not have waited for Jeff... I would be swimming all the way home!

Then in the very next frame that person reaches out and eats something ( something big) and tried to hide it....

Did you happen to catch that? Ewwwwwwwwww

I missed that. I would never go on survivor in the first place but she was kinda whiney from the very beginning.

I am not a big Survivor fan at all, but dh loves it.
But that bug, or what ever it was ...was the biggest "Ewe " factor I have ever seen........ yuck

Where was I??????? I saw a close-up of a grasshoppery-looking thing, but it didn't look huge. Is that what you're talking about? And who ate something and hid it???? I must have spazzed out cause I don't remember that (?)

I went back and watched that part again this morning and I still cannot make out what it was and it is still freaking me out.
I could not tell who the person was that reached out to eat a bug, because she had a hat covering her face. I guess I am just assuming that it was a female.

I LOVE Survivor! Last night's episode was disturbing for a number of reasons though. I think that is the first time that I reallyl got a feel for what they go through. Can you imagine sleeping in a cave with bugs and rats and bats pooping on you? ! !

I wish they would get rid of James!

Been on for a while, but not sure how many weeks, over 6 I think. Old favorites are teamed up with fans. I would like to know why it was on yesterday night instead of tonight? Who got voted off?

It was on last night because tonight is a "basketball evening." Glad that they didn't vote Ozzie off! He's a pretty cool player of the game!!! Ciree is getting on my nerves! :(

OKay so after reading ya'lls post I went back and watchhed the cave part like 20 times on my computer and I dont see what you are talking about:( (and Im very intrigued as I like identifying weird bugs!).The quality of the show on my computer wasnt that great so maybe that is why I cant find what you are talking about :confused:

Shana, this happened almost exactly in the middle of the episode ( if it was Tivo'd it would be right around minute 28) and there were two people lying next to each other when something either dropped down on them, or squeezed in between them. Right after that you can see one of them ( who is wearing a wide brimmed hat covering their face ) reach out and pick up a bug and put it in their mouth. :eek:

I don't think it's on this week because of basketball. I saw that creepy thing, but missed the person eating something. I bet Kathy's daughter was wishing her mom had not quit, but I could never have gone in the first place.

I can't tell if that woman is eating anything or not. Since the hat is down over her face and she is looking down you can't really see her mouth. She could be pushing her hair out of the way. I don't see a bug.
