If ordering from an on line company, make sure you either don't mind or know if the flowers come pre-arranged. Some do and some don't. After a few years of my hubby ordering on line Valentine flowers, I had to tell him that it wasn't as much fun to get a cold box at work and have to open it and make the arrangement myself. (I was really really sweet about it - I'm not ungrateful or anything - I just didn't want anyone to give him a hard time about it. He had no idea it came that way.) |
haha that's a good point. I'm sure most people have no idea that they will come this way! |
I use 1800flowers. I always see these ads on msn for $10 for this or that. For Christmas I sent my mom a dozen roses for $10. She said they were beautiful. Dad also ordered her flowers and paid up the butt and they were half dead and didn't come in a vase. ssshh don't tell dad, we didn't want to hurt his feelings. He tried and it's the thought. :) |
I gottten flowers from 1-800-flowers my boyfriend sent my a dozen pink roses from them 2 Valentine's Days ago, I was surprised the flowers lasted for almost 10 days and looked beautiful. I've also ordered flowers from ftd.com I sent them to someone so I'm not sure how long they lasted, but apparently they were really pretty when they were delivered. It was a dozen tulips. |
We have used pro flowers for the past two mother's days. We have also used costco. They both did a good job. The flower do arrive in a big box (already arranged) and have to be placed in the vase. |
I go to our local flower shop pick out what I want write what we want on the card and have them call the flower shop in that local town and have them deliverd. We live in Mn and we send flowers out to Maryland 3-4 times a year and have had wonderful results and nice flowers. |
