I FINALLY made an AVATAR!!
 
Yes, I finally figured it out! And it's so much fun.

I want to thank Kim (Peanut) for all the wonderful previous Avatars she was patient enough to make for me. :)

I spent an entire day trying to figure out how to make the Avatar, finding graphics I like, etc. and now I can change it whenever I want without bothering people. What do you think of my first attempt?

OMG I love it! I wanna learn ho to make one too. its so cute! How did u figure it out?? Your Matilda looks just like my Piper! How sweet! I feel so dumb as to trying to get some pics on here. But since Im new I didnt know who to ask! Thanks for making me feel not alone.

I made in in Photoshop and Image Ready. Once you get the hang of it it's really simple to do.

Matilda is about 6 months old now. How old is Piper?

shes 14 weeks and Im telling you when u finally see a pic of Piper they could be twins! Piper will probably be 6 years old by the time I figure out how to post pics and do an avatar on here tho. lol

Very nice....I hear you about wanting to do it yourself.

Do you have any recommendations for nice sites to get backgrounds?

This time I just googled "images" and used the ones I like. I had to change the canvas size on some of them, added names, etc. I might get more creative as I go along and make my own, but I wanted to get this one finished as Easter is almost here!

I have some friends that do tubing but that takes way more time than I have to spend...Lol. Gonna start futzing around and change up mine again. Almost time to get rid of the bunnies.

Bravo, you did a great job. The hard part is learning the program. I think YT has to have the best avatars on the web, so many great ones!

I am so excited, you did it, it looks wonderful, it takes some time the first time, but after that it gets easier to do...Great Job, I always knew you could do it:D
