I was shocked by that story as well. Why didn't someone call an ambulance the second day she was still sitting there? I can't tell you how many things were wrong with that situation IMO.

OMG, I am soo embarrassed..
 
This happened 30 miles from where my parents live! :eek: Everyone is so shocked that this happened. It's really making everyone stop and think...have we really not seen Pam for 2 years?? Why did we stop and ask Kory how things were going??

It's crazy because you hear about weird things happening in big cities or places far away...it really hits home when it happens right around the corner!

Oh yeah I heard that on the radio last week! Busted out laughing! WTH????? Some people are just soooo messed up! 2 years sitting on a toilet! If I were the boyfriend Id have called an ambulance or the police about a week into that to get her some help!

It sounds like they both have mental illnessses...that, or just she does and the boyfriend is just plain mean!!!

Um.......?:confused: I'm just bothered on how she could eat on the toilet. I wonder if she ever flushed? I hope they had another toilet around for the boyfriend..... soooo many questions. But obviously she was not "all there"

Yes, both Pam and Kory had mental illnesses or so they claim. Pam's mother died when she was very young and she had a pretty rough childhood. Now, they are blaming that for this. Apparantly she felt safe in the bathroom.:rolleyes:

Truly unreal! Poor woman certainly has had one terrible life.
How did she wash? Oh god the thought of no bath for two years.:eek:
They both need some serious help and I hope they get it.

Wow talk about toilet ring around the butt! What a sad story I can't even imagine how bad her mental illness must be. I hope she gets the help she needs to live a semi-normal life again.

They are thinking now that she probably didn't sit on the actual toilet the entire 2 years....more like 2 months. In the beginning, they think she moved around in the bathroom...changing clothes, showering, reading, etc. However, she did spend the last 2 months or so just on the toilet!:eek: We've heard that her legs had atrophied so much that her legs were black! I don't know if they've decided anything yet or not, but last weekend when I was home, they were talking about maybe needing to amputate both legs.
