Lead Paint In Plastic Easter Eggs! Just when we thought we had heard it all!! Lead paint in the little plastic easter eggs!!   http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5i...oLuUAD8VFOV2G0 |
I saw that too and I hope Pia's mommy sees this thread as she let's her babies play with them. Dina I'm going to send this thread to ya!! |
Oh heavens! What next? Nothing is safe anymore. |
Linda, thank you so much for posting this. I put treats in the eggs and the babies love chasing them around. This makes me sick. :( I hope my babies are ok and the eggs we have aren't bad. Regardless, their getting thrown away now. Thanks again for posting this and thank you Cyndi for pm'ing me. :) |
Good grief...what next! |
That's sad. :( We only use the plastic eggs to put money in for our Easter egg hunt. |

WHAT??!! What next? I am glad Dina seen this, as that is the first person I thought of when I read this!!! |
Can't they make products without putting in poisons!!! |
Don't the companies that put these products out "KNOW" that lead based paints are toxic??? @*!!~ Why aren't products that come into the US from other country's government regulated? Good grief. Like I've said before.....we will have to just make or buy home made clothes and toys. |
THANK YOU for posting this, I'll let everyone know - I'm sure I'll be going to a few easter parties this year, and I am going to have to help A LOT of people think of an alternative to easter egg hunting. :(:thumbdown Easter hunting was my favorite!!!!! (I'm 14 btw :p ) Goodbye my beloved easter egg hunting :wavecry: |
i wonder if all plastics from China are suspect??? I am definitely reading labels now!! Anything from China will not be bought. If there isn't an alternative, then i don't need it! THis really makes my blood boil!! I also have a watering bowl with the bottle that is upside down and i think it came from China. I'm going to toss it since it is the plastic too and might have the lead in there. UGH!! where does it end???  |
