Lori~ I wish that I was there to give you a great big ole hug! I will say a prayer that your grandmother will heal and that she has no pain. I lost my beautiful grandma this past October and it feels like just yesterday that I was talking with her. Feel free to call or email...I understand the fear that comes along with a loved one being so ill. :( Tammy |
I'm so sorry about your Grandmother!...Can you call her and let her know of your concern?.....She may want to hear your voice.....I will be thinking good thought for her and her test results...... |

But also My mom has Daisy's mom and dad and a sister and Gramma has a sister and brother ..And both my sisters have sisters... So they are in Yorkie Heaven there.. It was sweet of you to offer though. |
Oh Lori, I'm sorry, my heart goes out to you. I'm praying the cancer is not advanced and your Grandma will change her mind about treatment. There is so much more that can be done today than even a few years ago. Don't give up hope sweetie, I won't! |

I'm so sorry to hear this :( :( and you have my prayers and hopes with your family - I really do hope it's not as bad as it sounds and sending hugs.... |
Oh Lori, I am so very sorry to hear about your Gramma...I will keep her and you and you family in my prayers. The video link you posted was beautiful and almost immediately brought tears to my eyes; the part about the parent repeating themselves hit close to home...it made me want to hug my mom right that moment. Thankfully she is still here with us as her 94th birthday draws near. Do not feel that you abandoned your family just because you are not near them. When my brother lived in Texas when I was going through a tough time, he gave me a wall plaque with this poem...maybe it will make you feel a little closer to them.... A FAMILY IS LOVE There's a special kind of closeness that only families know It starts with early childhood trust and deepens as you grow... There's a special kind of comfort in knowing your family's there, to love and understand you, to listen and to care... Of all the treasures life may bring, your family means the most, And whether near or far apart that love will hold you close. I have loved that poem from the first time I read it; it still hangs on my wall today. ((((((Hugs to you Lori)))))...if there is anything I can do to help, let me know. |
Lori, those are truly the scariest words to ever hear and when you do hear them your world changes and is never, ever the same. I think the most important thing you can do for her right now is to just let her know how much you care for her and let her know that you can be as strong as needed. Lori, You are an amazing individual and I have every confidence that you will be her shining star through all this. Miles are just that ....miles, but a heart is forever close. Hugs to you..... :heart to |

but after doing everything else they could have they deside to test for cancer! They should have tested for Cancer months ago.:thumbdown . Now she is really Sick and My mom feels that it could be in her bones among other organs. I am Praying that it is not true. but it Really does not look good.:( |
Lori, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma. :( How hard it must be to be so far away. I hope you don't feel any guilt for moving away - it wouldn't have changed anything. Do you know why she doesn't want treatment? I hope you can go down to see her - after my grandmas died that was my one wish - that I had spent more time with them when they got sick. Thinking of you and your family sweetie. :love-hug3 |

BTW ... I love that Josh Groban video! Someone sent me that when I lost my sweet Mother in 2006 and it helped me so much! I had experienced every single one of those things with her and handled them exactly the way it was described in the video. It gave me so much peace!! Please thank your Mom for me! |
