Ok guys! I'm curious to know what your take is on the governor of NY and the whole scandal that broke out this week! I'm even more curious than ever, b/c the "alleged" prostitute, "Kristin" was offered the cover of both Penthouse and Hustler magazine! Only in America! :eek:

I think it's a shame that a brilliant man let his desire for illicit sex destroy not only his career but also shatter his family. And, although the prostitute did not seek out the publicity initially, it's not really right that she should profit so much from what is essentially still a crime.

Every time it comes on tv I turn the channel......Another arrogant man thinking with his johnson and thinking he's untouchable......


I don't have a high opinion of the female involved either, they deserve each other......The thing that bothers me the most is how she's becoming a celebrity in all of this....I saw that coming..... do wrong and you become a person of interest and cash in......what a shame our society contributes to this...

Agree. This may be perhaps the most embarrassing time of her ("Kristin") life, but opportunities (i.e. book, movies, record and modeling deals) will come her way. She will definitely clean up (depending on how you define "clean up")! lol

I agree with all of the above. I just don't know how these wives can stand up there and act supportive. You can see their pain. Another reason I think we need a women for president.

He made a lot of enemies and made such a big huge public deal about busting a prostitution ring a couple of years ago (proclaiming his disgust with the profession), etc. that (in my own opinion) he is getting what he deserves. Hypocrite, self righteous and arrogant always comes back to haunt and he is all of those.

I am very sympathetic to his family though :(

Boy, that is really it in a nutshell.

Clearly, he has an addiction going on - so I have sympathy there too; but for him to turn around crucify others for it, I just have a hard time dipping into my tolerance bin for that one.

I do feel very sorry for his wife and children. :( I heard where "Kristen" was only 4 years older than Spitzer's oldest daughter. :doh: What the H-LL is wrong with that man. :mad: He deserves whatever punishment he gets legally & personally.

He's a complete hypocrite and I have no respect for the man. The only ones that concern are is his poor wife & kids. Not only would I be devastated but how embarrassing that the whole world knows about it:( .

I just think that it is a shame now-a-days that women should put up with crap like that!! I mean come on I would have expected a woman standing by her man 20 or 30 yrs ago as standards were different but to just stand there and ecentially support that kind of behaviour. She has THREE daughters that she has to set an example for and she did not do so. To me it is rediculous to just stand there looking like a fool and just sending the wrong example to all women out there especially young women. :mad: :confused:

I live in NYC and believe me this opinion is the consensus of the majority of women out here...

say is "I'm Sorry". Family shot to hell! He deserves what he get's.
His family does not however. Unfortunately, they have to pay the
price also. Men will never learn where their real brain is located!

There isn't enough blood in their bodies to operate both...brains...at the same time. ;)

I feel bad for his family...publicly humiliated. Personally I don't think he sounds particularly remorseful either.

You notice, she stood 2-3 feet away from him the whole time..you could see the hurt in her face, and I'm sure they will end up in divorce court over this..of course, Hillary should have had the balls to have left Bill after he did what he did too..I for one sure don't want to see her get elected.

Probably...I think we already have enough problems in this world, she gets in, we're really going to be in a mess...Besides, my 23 year old son made a very good statement the other day..he said they shouldn't allow anyone to even run for president, if they haven't been in the military..how can they be over all these military men/women when they know nothing about the military..and, I think he has a point..

I think both of the Clintons had agendas and political aspirations....the marriage is a partnership to attain the end. The biggest threat to Hillary's ambitions...in this case was not Bill's affair...it was the impeachment that followed. I am sure he got more of an earful for lying to the congressional committee than the affair. Bill had had affairs long before Monica ever came into the picture.
