Printer suggestions? Best one to buy? I'm having printer issues..argh:thumbdown Looks like I may be in the market for a new one. I'm looking for one that prints the best photo quality. I make alot of photos, cards, and business cards. Which printer would you suggest??? |
For photos, I like HP printers. I have a Lexmark scanner/printer for my normal printing and an HP for photos. I would NOT recommend a Lexmark. They are wildly inexpensive  but unfortunately do not seem to last very long :thumbdown . I would also suggest that you get one that prints different paper sizes, so you can print small pictures too. Good Luck! |
My only suggestion is look at the ink refills too, sometimes they are more expensive than the printer... *cough* lexmark*cough*. I prefer cannon, they have nice photo printing capabilities and you can get the ink cheaper (especially if you have a Fry's Electronics, they have a off-brank ink refill for it for cheap) |
Thanks everyone! :) Can anyone suggest a "specific" printer that prints the BEST photos??? |
I checked the Consumer Reports and the say if you want one for great pics then this one is good....HP Photosmart C-5180 for $200 |
I really like my Cannon Pixma MP 780. Just be prepared to buy lots of cartridges. |
I love my HP photosmart all in one |

Thanks everyone! I really don't need a scanner...copier...etc...just an awesome printer. Which is the newest HP photosmart??? |
Something to consider about the all-in-ones.... If one thing needs fixin', they all have to go to the shop or be replaced. |
Well I decided to go with an HP again  I don't need a fax, copier, and scanner , I just wanted the printed to print great photos so I went with the HP Photosmart D5345. Anyone have it? |
